Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

It's not the right theme

I have to say, this part is as much fun as trying to guess it myself! I didn't realise you could see the whole list of words once you had got it!

I solved Semantle #30 in 90 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 3.60. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #3. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 12.00. semantle.novalis.org/

Just keep chucking guesses out there until you hit a green word.

I just had a go for the first time and was getting lots of "colds", then all of a sudden got 996! Then 20 guesses later I had to give up 😤
I'll definitely have a go tomorrow though when I have more time and patience 👍🏼
