I admit Ive rewatched all series too many times now. But some lines still just make me laugh like...

"it's probably just some ball bit witch"

"Do you have to live quite so relentlessly in the real world"

After Jeremy catches Mark and Toni laughing at this tract.

Mark tries to make it up to Jeremy, 'look I've got us lots of good stuff, Gin, Mr Kipling cakes (I can't remember the rest or the t.v. show/movie he's got) but it's a bit more parenting.

BTW - is Sophie's brother played by a different actor in the later episodes ? Sophie's brother that is collected by Ian after the gig where Witch Dance Abortion is really rocking out is different to the brother that was dancing to the Claire Grogan, 'Happy Birthday' song at Sophie's birthday party at home in an earlier episode.

When Mark has to get his new racist mate to play the cor anglais! And the band manager who is into crystal skulls. And burying Sophie in the ball pit. The awful Sazz. When Elena won't drive Sophie to hospital when she is in labour because she has to speak to Gail - 'it's kind of a biggie, Soph'. Blair Resignation Jam.

So many best bits...it just never missed!!

I couldn't chose a favourite between Johnson and Hans, love them both.

The voicemail for Sophie, and Jez’s horrified expression that he then tries to cover with an encouraging half smile, makes me shed actual tears of laughter. How Mark says “far frum it,” so nervously 🤣

Also when he stands up in the church on his wedding day and shakily shouts “Surprise! It’s me.”

One of my top 10 shows of all time.

@ToffeeNotCoffee the actor in the gig episode is Sophie’s cousin not her brother. Barney, I think the character is called. Don’t know actor’s name but he was brilliant in that episode.

I love Peep Show but the mummy the dog storyline leaves me cold.

So many quotes crop up in our house in everyday life - "see Mark, he did do it, but for a nice reason" is used surprisingly often.
