How tall is your 10/11 year old??

Just measure both the dc!

Dc1 is 5f2 (and a half) Shock
Dc2 who is a couple of years younger is 4ft5

I seem to have grown giants lighthearted

I know both of them are tall but still I’m 5f9 (and a half) and dc1 only has to grow another 7 inches and will be the same height as me….dh is around 5ft11!

Dd1 is 10, 11 in March and is 5ft4 & size 5.5 shoe. I am 5ft5 & size 5.
Dd2 is not long turned 7 & is just bought her size 1.5 shoes - the same size i had starting secondary school.
I think girls/women are definitely getting taller. My mum was tall when she was young at 5ft6.

My youngest DD is 11.5 and I think she is around 4' 11" based on how much shorter she is than me.

Her older sister is 13.5 and I think around 5' 2".

I don't think either will be very tall, probably smaller than average. I was 5' 4.5" in my early 20s (I've lost an inch!) and their dad was about 6'. They definitely take after me!

Though they do both have quite big feet for their height. Older DD is size 5/6 and younger DD is 3/4!

DD was 5ft 6 at age 11, now adult height 5ft 8
DS was 5ft 1 age 11 and is now 6ft 2 adult height.

My ds is 11.5 and 143cm or 4ft 8. He is one of the smallest in his year. My ds who is 16 was also tiny and a slow grower. He is nearly 6ft now but his voice still hasn't finished breaking.

My DD1 will turn 11 this week and she's 5'6'' - tallest in her class. I'm 5'7'' and not looking forward to having to manage a pre-teen while looking up 🙈.

My 9yo ds is 5’1. He’s the tallest boy in his y5 class but there’s a girl who’s a good 2 inches taller. She’s matured quicker, I’m pretty sure he will end up much taller than her, they just grow at different rates. I was 5’7 by 12 and only grew another couple of inches. I was always taller than the boys and now the vast majority of the boys are taller than me.

My 12 yo y8 dd is 5’2 and seems bang on average in her year.

My DS (11) is 5ft 1. Some of his friends are tall now and one of them has size 10 feet 😮

My DD is 13 and is 5ft 9 (taller than me). Very weird looking up to her!

DD is 11 and 5 ft 6, not the tallest in Y7. DS is 14 and 6ft 4, not the tallest in Y10. I am shorter than both. 😐

Age 11 ds was 5 foot, he is 18 next week & 6'1". Boys can still grow to being about 20, girls normally stop growing around 16.

I grew 6" in my second term at secondary school, I was extremely poorly having Chicken pox, mumps & measles straight after each other, I lost 2 stone in weight & went back to school 5'5" tall.

Dd is 10 and in year 6 but will be 11 next month, she's just over 5ft. She's the third tallest girl in her class. The boys are mostly tiny.

She started her periods in November and seems to be having a growth spurt in general as her size 4 shoes are all tight on her.

My son is just shy of 9 (next weekend) and he’s 5ft1ish. He’s definitely tall- the tallest in his class by quite a bit despite being the youngest. He also has adult size 6 feet

He’s Primary 5 (I guess year 4?) but could be Primary 4 (year 3?) due to where his birthday falls

To add - my ds is nearly 19 and is 6ft 2 and I think finished growing.

He started year 7 in adult size 11 shoes and thankfully stopped at a size 13.

In year 6 he was the tallest boy but a girl towered over him. He was around 5ft 5 which is the same height as me.

My daughter is 5’4” at 12. She was 5’1” at her birthday in October.

My brother was 5’4” at 12 too but he ended up 6’6” by 15.

My DD, like me, was 5.8 at 11.

By 16 we were both 5.9

My brother was 5ft at 13 and 6ft at 16. The growth was physically painful for him.

DD, aged 10 is 5ft 3. She's always been taller but I'm 6ft and her Dad, my ex H is 6ft 2 so she's going to be tall! I full expect her to be taller than both her parents. Her uncle, my brother is 6ft 7 and at 11 was 5ft 9!

I was 5' 8" at 11. Stopped at 5'11".
My dd was 5' 6.5" at 12 and hasn't grown since (now 16).
My son was about 5'6" at 11 but topped out at just shy of six feet (much to his annoyance).

Hi I know this was so long ago but worth a shot! lol. At what age did DS stop growing if he grew to 6"? Did he just slow down after age 11?
