Best prosecco?

Hello everyone,

Wanted some opinions if possible…. for our wedding in 6 weeke we can provide our own alcohol and cant decide on a prosecco… what are your recommendations? Ideally we’d want to keep costs down but equally dont want to serve something super cheap that doesn’t taste nice.

Have tried a few from Aldi/ Tesco/ Sainsburys / Asda but struggling to find a good value one si any recommendations welcome.

For the price I don’t think you will beat Aldi prosecco!

Waitrose, San Leo is the best have found. Drinking it now.

I really like the Aldi one tbh! Can you see where has deals on though and go from there?

Or, do you have a Majestic wines near you? They do good deals & used to offer sale or return.

The Aldi organic is lovely

I have a friend who is very into wine and quite snobby about it. The only Prosecco he drinks is the Sainsbury’s taste the difference one.

Sainsbury's taste the difference is the one I prefer ... the pink version is nice too.

Also Aldi organic one

The ALDI one sucks (IMO) best values (to me ) is the Bella Cucina from Tesco. ALDI and Sainbo's have decent pignolettos. lidls cava is very decent too. For cheap champagne nothing beats the Co-op's. Most rose preoseccos regardless of price will also taste nice. If you tell me your price limit per bottle I might give you better guidance.

Have you considered Cava? I think you're more likely to get better quality for money with cava than Prosecco.

100% with you Sarcobaleno cava has turned into prosecco's ugly sister but IMO end up taking better than prosecco.

Yes definitely the taste the difference rose prosecco from Sainsburys.

I like mionetto orange label Prosecco and la gioiosa prosecco rose or the yellow label is good too

We wouldnt go above £10per bottle but if nicer ones are less than that all the better.

None. Get Cremant instead... Drier and nicer

I like the £4.99 one from Tesco! It's nicer than some which are much more expensive

I'd consider Cava or Cremant rather than Prosecco 🍾

I also like Bella Cucina from Tesco, it’s cheap but very nice.

Asda Fillipo Sansovino its in a dumpy bottle with black label/silver foil. I got it as a sub a while back on a click and collect and have been buying it ever since. Think its normally around £7

Aldi Cremant du Jura. Can't go wrong with it. Much nicer than any thin Prosecco or acidic Cava at that price point and comes in a lovely bottle. You won't regret it I promise you.
