I've been suffering from awful stomach pains for two hours, on and off the toilet, now going to run a hot bath (at 1:30am!) to try and soothe it. Keep me company and stop me from going insane - I'm in so much pain!

What are you doing? Are you okay? What's keeping you up? :-)

Didn't get in from work til midnight . Had food, watched The Lost Daughter (utter crap and I wouldn't recommend it), and now finishing my glass of port and tonic then off to bed. Hope you feel better soon OP.

RJnomore1 · 09/01/2022 01:53

Hope you are ok op!

I’m awake because I’ve just got home from a wedding. I am very drunk but the anxiety has just hit. WTF have I said whilst drunk?! Anything embarrassing? I over analyse everything in the next 10 or so hours….

ChickenGotLegs · 09/01/2022 01:55

I've had to do an unplanned sleepover at work. It's like an oven, so hot, currently lying on the couch and can't find a thing to watch! Oh and I'm here till 9pm tomorrow night!

It's going to be a long day...

Lucky44 · 09/01/2022 01:56

Covid cough

Bunnyfuller · 09/01/2022 01:56

Slept in too late this morning, no doubt will do tomorrow as well now.

Yes, what’s the book @Xmasgetaway

jellybe · 09/01/2022 02:02

Similar to you OP bad stomach and on and off the loo. I eat too many rich foods today and this is the pay back for it. At almost 40 you'd think I'd have learnt by now but no every three four months I over do it and spend the night like this and tomorrow I'll feel hung over even though I don't drink 🤦‍♀️

Pyewhacket · 09/01/2022 02:02

Slipped at the stable yard this morning and came down heavily on my backside in the mud and rain. I burst into tears, which so unlike me, but it bloody hurt and I was soaking wet. I've now got the mother of all bruses and it hurts like anything when I move or try and get comfy. I'm now in the kitchen making tea and having a conversation with the cat.

Pyewhacket · 09/01/2022 02:03

Bruises

Thetwomutts · 09/01/2022 02:04

Third night awake with a nearly 3 year old who has hand foot and mouth - this illness is horrible for her. Every time I put her down she wakes up and cries, whether that's night or day.

She is only eating ice lollies, managed a slice of soft cheese earlier. Barely drinking but thankfully breastfeeding loads so between that and the lollies getting plenty of fluids.

I'm exhausted but can't sleep - luckily I got an hour nap earlier while she slept in the evening - dad held onto her while I slept.

FruitMelange · 09/01/2022 02:06

Fell asleep on the sofa at 10pm. Woke at 11pm and went to bed and can't get back to sleep. Will prob drop off by about 4am and be knackered when I get up tomorrow. And I'll do the same again ad infinitum.

Ostagazuzulum · 09/01/2022 02:07

Partly menopause and I struggle
To sleep but also DH snoring. No other bed to go to. Can't sleep
On sofa as too uncomfy. He has some kind of medicine that GP have him
Last year which minimises snoring. It's a spray or drops he has to light up his nose. Works surprisingly well but he refuses to use it as he doesn't like few
Of it and it feels bad on back of his throat. I'm
Permanently sleep deprived and furious he can't think of someone other than himself. He had 5-10 mins of letting the medicine settle but instead I have a whole night of his snoring loudly. He won't go sleep elsewhere either. Refuses. I've tried ear plugs and they're not enough. I spend several hours hissing at him to change positions.

OneForTheRoadThen · 09/01/2022 02:09

Covid. And anxiety, I'm often awake at this time for several hours unfortunately

SquidGin · 09/01/2022 02:12

@Xmasgetaway

I finished a book that was very exciting and disturbing and now I know I’ll have nightmares if I sleep straight away!
What book 😂 x
FatsoandtheFeast · 09/01/2022 02:12

Can hardly ever get to sleep and hate laying still in bed for hours. Wish I could do something useful but think I'll wake people if I do. Watching inside number 9. Hope you feel better soon Flowers

Noisy neighbours shouting & bawling. Hope your stomach feels better soon OP.

Terminallysleepdeprived · 09/01/2022 02:15

Asthmatic that has this ridiculous post covid cough. Feel like I have broken/bruised every bone in my chest.

Have slept for a bit amd then woke up needing the loo and now back to coughing

ToManySnacks · 09/01/2022 02:16

Partner watching The monuments men
Im on here, as always

Treesuphooray · 09/01/2022 02:19

Pregnant and uncomfortable and my very cuddly 3 year old likes to cuddle me through the night which makes me even more uncomfortable! She likes to wiggle her toes on my leg and wakes if I move it- really quite annoying. But I do love her sleepy cuddles.

Hadjab · 09/01/2022 02:23

I’m in Blackpool, partying!

Burnamer · 09/01/2022 02:23

Ddog needed a wee.
Night all.

PermanentTemporary · 09/01/2022 02:23

Because I don't want to face tomorrow even though it's an exciting day. It's too much for me. I wish I was alone all day and doing nothing tomorrow.

lonelynotalone · 09/01/2022 02:23

I just don't sleep well at night for some reason. Anxiety, brain won't settle, but I know some the morning I will struggle to get up! Hope you feel better soon OP. Confused
