Big Dave for a tiny fluffy little thing.

I once met a massive newfoundland called 'baby Dave' under similar lines.

Love the name Spangle, for a dog, and for those old enough to remember brings back memories of childhood sweeties.

My cat was called Library

Colin is the bigger one and Geoff the little one, but they are both Toy Poodles 🙂

As a child in the 2970s, some friends had a dog called Teacup.
I know a cat called Disco Alan.

That should be 1970s!!

I also know of a gorgeous border collie called Boudicca.

My friends Staffordshire bull terrier is called Semtex.

My dad’s childhood dog was actually called Here Boy!

Growing up we had a siamese cat named Charmaine. No one every called her that though, we just called her Pussy.

The problem is she would wander off and we had to call her in at night. So it was along the lines of outside shouting ... Pussy, where are you, come Pussy.

If I think back I wonder if my folks realised, or if it was a private joke between them.

I know someone with two dogs, one is Ben and the other is Jerry.

Oh and someone else, he also has two dogs, they are both Heinz 57s. One is brown, his name is Brown Dog, the other being white is White Dog.

I really want another chihuahua and call it Cerberus

Tricky Woo (of All Creatures). I was reading a bit of one of the books to DS which featured Tricky and DS fell about laughing.

We have a local peke called Raven (or Maven) and a black Staffy called Guinness.

A dog at the end of the road when I was a kid was called Edward and it suited him. The owners used to let him come with us on our local adventures. He'd come racing out when we called.

Our friends have black labs called Jarvis, Bob and Bella.

Well. The most stupid name I ever heard someone name their dog was an old acquaintance, who actually named their dog Scrotum!
