Brigante, hence my username. It’s a character Al Pacino plays in Carlito’s Way, Carlito Brigante. Our current puppies are Goose and Mitch-Maverick’s real name is Pete Mitchell. Maverick was too much of a mouthful.

Our rottie is called Saoirse!

This is potentially a bit outing, but my friend and his partner brilliantly decided to let their then four-year-old son name their dog.

So now they have a dog named RobotCrocodile.

That’s brilliant!

I let my 4 year old name my tortoise.
She’s called Fluffy.

My Beagle is called April ,I like human names for dogs ,I wanted Peggy or Peggy-sue but it was my son's choice I once knew a Hamster called Steven .

If we’re allowed to include tv animals, there was a dog called Boobalinka in the Sitcom, Terry and June.

A mongrel named Vyvyan Bastard (this was in the 80s ). Two white GSDs, Barry and Brian. And I met a black Labrador, on the beach yesterday, named Mycroft

My parents knew someone with a dog called Mycroft. It was a Bloodhound!

I know a doctor who had various huskies and she has illusions of grandeur and wanting to be posh - I think she called hers Darcey and Bingley - she’s got some more now and neither the dogs nor her are like locally - Oxford area 😆 everyone used to laugh at her she thought she was so clever explaining where they got their names from
