No breakfast, just cup of tea in bed (thank you, DH). Coffee. Picnic lunch: Small bag of crisps, wholemeal roll with cheese and ham, 2 cherry toms, half an apple, satsuma, 2-finger KitKat, currant biscuit, glass of water, cup of tea. Tea: last slice of the Christmas cake, with cheese, and cup of tea. Dinner: chilli con carne with brown Basmati rice, grated cheese and plain yoghurt; small salad. Cup of decaff tea and handful of cool mint Matchmakers. There will be another cup of tea before bed. For 'cup read 'mum's, throughout. Am hoping writing this has made me able to resist nuts, Celebrations and rest of Matchmakers.

I’ve eaten half of a bread cob. Sad

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 01/01/2022 21:17

First day of Veganuary so breakfast was porridge made with oat milk and dried fruit and seeds on top. Lunch was veg soup, a couple of bread rolls and some vegan salami. Fruit for pudding. A few nuts and crisps in the afternoon. Sweet potato ramen ready meal with a vegan chocolate pudding for dinner. And a glass of Shiraz now.
Not a bad start - too much processed stuff ideally but we're staying with MIL tonight and I didn't want to inconvenience her hence the ready meal for dinner.

We're at my mum's house for a couple of days before school goes back, so we've had a full Christmas dinner (roast beef and ALL the trimmings) cooked by one of my siblings. Really, really good. Plus profiteroles for pudding.

Now eating sour cream and chive Pringles with mulled wine.

Jacket potato, butter, cheddar, large green salad, tuna mayo with spring onion and lemon.

3 mugs tea, 1 mug coffee with 1 sugar, glass pressed apple juice.

Gingerkittykat · 01/01/2022 23:12

If you count the Hogmanay party there was a tonne of cheese, crackers, Doritos and dips, nuts, crisps and chocolates before 2am.

Today there have been three cheese, ham and pineapple toasties and a slice of gingerbread.

I don't normally eat like this and will be starting a fasting regime again next week.

You had one meal. Unless your brownie was a foot square, of course it wasn't excessive.
ellephant · 01/01/2022 23:21

One coffee with sweetener in the morning. Two cups of tea, each with a teaspoon of sugar.
3 jalapeño poppers and a mini sausage roll for 'dinner'.
