What’s your favourite swear word?

biggirlknickers · 24/12/2021 09:54

And least favourite?

My favourite is “bollocks”. I overuse it though. For every tiny mistake / dropping / forgetting incident. It rolls around the mouth beautifully Grin

Not too keen on “bitch” because of context of use.

What’s yours?

When I saw your thread title, I thought "bollocks." What an excellent word. Applicable for almost every undesirable happenstance. Also a compliment with a simple modifier.

Mydogisagentleman · 24/12/2021 09:57

After reading the thread, it’s not really a swear word, but I have been overusing ballsack this morning

XDownwiththissortofthingX · 24/12/2021 10:30

"fuck"

It's a timeless classic.

Guttedbuyer · 24/12/2021 10:31

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

meow1989 · 24/12/2021 10:31

I use bloody in place of swearing in front of ds. It's peppered throughout daily conversation and very satisfying.

Boopeedoop · 24/12/2021 10:33

Fuck. Fucking. Fuck sake. Any variation of fuck really.

LadyLazarus40 · 24/12/2021 10:35

Fuck!

coogee · 24/12/2021 10:36

I don’t swear. Halo

golddustwomen · 24/12/2021 10:37

What the fuck

It's brilliant

Maireas · 24/12/2021 10:37

I'm a secondary school teacher, so I've trained myself to say nothing stronger than 'bloomin eck!".
I don't want anything else to emerge during a lesson!

DropYourSword · 24/12/2021 10:38

Fuck is absolutely the best and most versatile word

Anyone that says swearing proves that someone is uneducated etc etc can go fuck themselves!!

I’m with you - really don’t like bitch.

SpookyScarySkeletons · 24/12/2021 10:39

I think my favourite is dickhead.

The only one I can't stand is c##t. Can't even type it.

TangoWhiskyAlphaTango · 24/12/2021 10:40

Most definitely Fuck

Also love the word TWAT hence the username. It seems such a simple word that sums up so many people. Not sure its a swear word though? Hmm

SufferingJet · 24/12/2021 10:40

Cuntsatchel

Feelingoood · 24/12/2021 10:40

It’s historical too, so we are being cultured!
First written down in 1503, in the form fukkit
Fuckin A!

dudsville · 24/12/2021 10:40

Fuck, shit, damn are my standards and they adequately cover most scenarios for me, but I am also fond of "crap" as more suitable for some company.

DeadButDelicious · 24/12/2021 10:42

Bugger and Bloody.

Fuck is a good one. As is Shit.

To be honest I don't think I've met a swear word I didn't like. Grin

echt · 24/12/2021 10:42

@SufferingJet

Cuntsatchel
Outstanding.

Cuntybollocks.

Feelingoood · 24/12/2021 10:42

Flying fuck originally meant "sex had on horseback" c. 1800
😂

dudsville · 24/12/2021 10:42

Ah, reading this thread I've realised there are two categories that spring up, situations/things and people. I don't use swear words for people.

Feelingoood · 24/12/2021 10:43

Ooh cuntybollocks is good! I don’t like shit tho, I find it offensive!

EventOfTheSeason · 24/12/2021 10:44

Bugger is my everyday one. But fuck is my other go to. The others feel a bit forced when I use them.

RicherThanYew · 24/12/2021 10:48

Fuck and bollocks are the gold standard really but I am fond of saying "dick" (but pronounced deck) because it amuses.

RicherThanYew · 24/12/2021 10:51

I love the word cunt, let's be fair it's an astoundingly clever body part but I have trouble bringing myself to use it negatively, when can one use it positively though?

Cocolapew · 24/12/2021 10:52

Fuck, fucking, fucked.
