What’s your favourite swear word?

And least favourite?

My favourite is “bollocks”. I overuse it though. For every tiny mistake / dropping / forgetting incident. It rolls around the mouth beautifully Grin

Not too keen on “bitch” because of context of use.

What’s yours?

Who decides what is a swear word? When the English language was being made, who said duck is a good word but fuck is a swear word? Buck tuck etc, all fine. What's wrong with an F? Grin

Best part of DC3's birth was the creative swearing coming from the room opposite, she sounded like she was having a horrible time and I felt sorry for her, but she did take my mind off my own contractions as she bellowed "SHIT A BRICK!!!!".

@EllieSattler

When I saw your thread title, I thought "bollocks." What an excellent word. Applicable for almost every undesirable happenstance. Also a compliment with a simple modifier.
It just rolls off the tongue 😂😂
nancybotwinbloom · 24/12/2021 23:52

Fuck

It just leaves my mouth without being able to stop it

Piss.

It’s crass I know, but it’s always been my favourite. 😉

In my younger years I rarely swore and even then it was no more than an occasional duck or shit.

I now throw around ‘bunch of cunts’ on Facebook on a daily basis although would have to be severely agitated to say it out aloud.
