Ever watched a new show you love and no-one else has seen it?

I just started watching This Is Us this week and I’m completely hooked but no-one else I know has seen it or wants to see it. It’s rubbish when this happens and you want someone else to get excited about it with you. It was the same when I watched Fleabag and The End of the Fucking World. Ever had this happen to you?

Love This is Us- up to date and waiting for the last series to air altho I don't want it to end!

It’s French, based on real events and has that lovely actress from Spiral (who also did a turn in Call My Agent).

So good. Drama, love, deceit, hidden identity, fantastic costumes and general French frenchness!

Oh and handsome men.

Shtisel, the Alienist, Criminal UK and Ozark. Bloody love them all. Can't wait for the latter 2s next series.

I got bored with this is us around series 4 the flashbacks started to get on my nerves!

I love "Mum" and there was a lot of love for it on here but not many people I know have seen it, it's one of my all time favourites I think.

I love Mum too @KylieKangaroo so sad it's not coming back.

My favourite TV programme ever!

Mum was a fantastic series. Miss it a lot.

I loved I am Not Okay with this on my dds recommendation and loved it. Sad it was cancelled after the one season.

I preferred Mom to Mum, I also loved The King of Queens.

I love Ted Lasso so much. Such a shame it’s on Apple+, which virtually no one has.

I really enjoyed the first season (or possibly two?) of This Is Us but it suddenly became unbearably schmaltzy and we had to stop watching.

Someone asked for a list. 😁 These are all shows posters mentioned and that I loved, that no-one else (I know) watched. The last three I successfully recommended to a limited number of friends. Ok, one friend. Not mentioned yet in the thread, (and likely because I am in Canada, not the UK), is Ghosts. It is streaming here in Canada for free, but no-one is willing to watch it because there will be commercials.
