For me, it has to be Robbie Williams.. I feel irate when I hear him on the radio. I will never ever like his voice.

Beyonce when she collaborates with anyone. All you can hear is her warbling all over the song. My friend does a great impression of it.

PeriodHacker · 21/12/2021 10:15

Yes on Jess Glynn! I thought I was the only one...

Whatevernext1 · 21/12/2021 10:16

Sam Smith

Vallmo47 · 21/12/2021 10:17

Billie Eilish. However you say it. Cannot stand.
Sam smith grates on me terribly too.

FancySomeChips · 21/12/2021 10:17

Jess Glynn
Urgh if we had been sat in the top row at Wembley for the summer time ball a few hrs ago and I hadn’t been scared shitless of falling to my death on those god awful stairs, I would have run away when she came on. Longest set ever. I didn’t think we would survive it.

Also Ellie Goulding
I just hear smugness

And Robbie Williams
And he’s not nice in real life. Met him twice and he’s plain rude (to the children I was with in my work role).

FancySomeChips · 21/12/2021 10:17

If we hadn’t

DoucheCanoe · 21/12/2021 10:17

Chris Martin. He mumbles low notes and yelps the higher ones.

Other than that there are artists styles or songs I really dislike and tend to turn off - Leona Lewis, Adele, Bruno Mars and Sam Smith off the top of my head.

FancySomeChips · 21/12/2021 10:18

And years
Not hours

Must proof read!!!

CamsPaisleyCuffs · 21/12/2021 10:18

Jess Glynn and Belinda Carlisle. I can't stand warbling, goes right through me.

MrsPeterVenkman · 21/12/2021 10:18

Adele sends me into a spiral of melancholy.

chinabumps85 · 21/12/2021 10:19

Doja Cat

I have an intense dislike of Robbie Williams. I really do think the world would be a better place without him.

Rod Stewart is just awful. He's got this horrible scratch sounding voice. Also any of those women on reality shows like The Voice or X Factor who think a good singer is just someone who can shout the loudest.

mewkins · 21/12/2021 10:22

Kylie and Madonna. People who can't sing, given a career only with the help of autotune.

Heartofglass12345 · 21/12/2021 10:27

I think I have found my people lol

TroysMammy · 21/12/2021 10:30

Phil Collins

Both sent from Satan to destroy our poor innocent ears.

Sam Smith
Ariana Grande
Freya Riding
Ellie Goulding

I love Robbie!!

FrankiesCheeseTruckle · 21/12/2021 10:38

Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera - all lovely voices when they Sing normally but they have to do the whole histrionics and caterwauling thing which sounds like nails on a blackboard.

SirChenjins · 21/12/2021 10:40

Sam Smith
Oasis - can never remember if that’s Noel or Liam.

So whiny.

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 21/12/2021 10:40

Meatloaf. Absolutely cannot stand his voice or his songs.

Adele. No thanks.

Sharleen Spiteri. Ghastly.

Gwen Stefani. I don't get it. Sorry.

Christina Aguilera. Just no.

Celine Dion. Actually makes me want to shove screwdrivers down my ear holes.

Bob Dylan. Someone should've stuck to writing the songs instead of trying to sing them...

Cerys Matthews. Please. Stop. Singing.

I'm sure there's more 😂

Justcallmebebes · 21/12/2021 10:41

Annie Lennox. I appreciate she has a great voice and is very talented but her voice makes my teeth itch

Pythian · 21/12/2021 10:43

Meghan Trainor - she sounds like she's quacking. And another vote for Sam Smith. I don't think anyone's said Katy Perry yet? On her more poppy songs she's inoffensive enough, but I hate her voice when she's trying to do high notes, like on Firework. It sounds like she's straining her voice past its natural ability and it almost makes me develop a sore throat in sympathy.
