Celebs who are attractive in one role but not others

Watched the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes for the first time today - HOLY SMOKES!!! He is gorgeous in it! I’ve never ever once found him the least bit attractive in anything else he’s been in but crikey I almost swooned when he came on screen with his floppy blonde hair and Zorro outfit 🤤

Who else is only ever attractive in one role?

On a similar note, Hugh Laurie but only as House. I’ve had some very lovely dreams about him as House but then in anything else (especially with his natural accent) I don’t fancy him at all.

Billy Bob Thornton in bad santa.
Matthew mconnaughey, but only in true detective
David tenant in Cassanova.
Another Negan fan. Had a daryl. Thing for a bit, but then he got a bit broken and I didn't like that.

I'm a little worried at the types I'm attracted to hereHmm

Thought of another though other May not agree with me - Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Every other non-weird role - Gilbert Grape, The Tourist, Finding Neverland etc - he was weird at worst, feminine at best but as Jack Sparrow he’s somehow VERY manly and sexy!
Maybe it’s the tan. Jack Sparrow has a tan, every other Johnny Depp character is pallid.

Only on a fantasy level.
Don would do my head in.
I couldn't cope with being a man with a name like a nursery rhyme.
Matthew m was far, far too messed up in tD for a
relationship.
Cassanova: riddled with it.
Negan would get pissed and mansplain all the time.

Geralt isn't a bastard in The Witcher. He's lovely this season looking after his child surprise "daughter". Definitely adds to his charm.

The chappy who played Inigo Montoya in Princess Bride - also ruggedly handsome as that character!

Maybe it's because I once lived with a twat (but def not a sexy one) but married a decent one, that means I can safely fancy dickheads. Competent dickheads though, in most cases. Grin

Apparently the ideal man is a grubby vampire with dyed hair.

My first words after leaving cinema after seeing LOTR were "phwoar, I could totally shag that elf!" Orlando Bloom in any other role? Meh.

I watched Marriage Story recently (SO ruddy boring) and at one point the babysitter tells him and his wife (Scarlett Johansenn) “Wow you guys are an attractive couple”…I was Confused because whilst Scarlett is stunning I think Adam Driver is one of the ugliest, most gawky and awkward men I’ve ever seen on screen and I wondered “Am I supposed to find him attractive?”
