Watched the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes for the first time today - HOLY SMOKES!!! He is gorgeous in it! I’ve never ever once found him the least bit attractive in anything else he’s been in but crikey I almost swooned when he came on screen with his floppy blonde hair and Zorro outfit 🤤

Who else is only ever attractive in one role?

Oh god YES to Michael Praed in Robin of Sherwood. He's too smooth in other stuff but grubby and mullet-topped? Yes please

Actually I think it's intensity for me. Anyone in a role that requires long, brooding stares and low, rumbling toned voices. That'll do it .

Cillian Murphy was no use to me at all in Red Eye but absolutely yes all day as Tommy Shelby.
Also Tobias Menzies in This Way Up makes my ovaries go ping but not in Outlander or The Crown.

Tobias Menzies has a lovely voice, but doesn’t do it for me otherwise. I wonder if he’s narrated any audiobooks…

oh my god yes!! That leather jacket!

He was in Exit in the King at the national theatre, I was actually ashamed at how turned on I was (he was in a stringy long wig, ridiculous makeup, silky pyjamas... and I could have just done it there and then. Hideous.).

He also eats a pasty incredibly disgustingly in the trailer for The King's Man, and it does something to me. He does a little growl too. I have to get up and have a little walk if the trailer comes on TV.

Is the (slightly depressing) take away from this that men are sexier when they’re being utter bastards?

I'm sure I read somewhere that when ovulating most women find surly, overly masculine, bastard types more attractive
