I’m an adult and I don’t have an advent calendar 🙋🏻‍♀️

I just don’t get them nor want one. Sometimes some of the things look nice but there’s invariably things I don’t want in there. I like using the same skincare not random bits and bobs. One year I shared a body shop calendar with my teen daughter and I’m still trying to use up tiny shower gels. I see so many threads, surely I’m not the only adult out there without one!

DH got me a gin one from Costco (reduced TBF)

When I was a kid we had one picture advent calendar between six siblings.

Now I’m grown up I have a picture one all to myself! I love the tradition and it makes the anticipation of Christmas sweeter - much better than actual Christmas.

I have a Moo Free white chocolate one

I have an anaphylactic dairy allergy, so I feel I have a lot of years of catching up to do. I’m not able to eat much at a time, so an advent calendar amount of chocolate is sad but true a perfect portion, too.

I have a chocolate one - nice chocolate (to my taste, at least). I might well be adult, but I was never allowed one as a kid, and I guess I never got over it, what with now having one every year!
