What Christmassy things are you doing this weekend?

Cheer me up whilst I am incapacitated with my bust ankle
Ligaments.

Are you doing anything festive this weekend or is it still to early. I'd planned to go shopping this evening then the a Christmas market and do bits of shopping out and about. Instead I'm Laid up on the sofa with my ankle Swelling!

Give me Inspiration for when my ankle is better.

Going to put up the decorations this weekend and hopefully wrap a few more presents. The weather is meant to be pretty shite here so looks like I'll be staying in.

There's a Christmas festival on this weekend in my town, Victorian Carol singers and a small Christmas Market, snow machine and led giant baubles for the kids to play around in, Christmas lights switch on tomorrow night and then the Father Christmas grotto opens with real reindeer on Sunday. I'll enjoy it more than the kids I think

I'm working on a pom pom garland for Christmas, maybe going to do a light safari in the car as a lot of our local towns switch on tonight/over the weekend.

Going to the Christmas market in Newbury. Taking my ds so that he can choose something for his dad.

Then getting him a haircut, ordering a new passport for his French trip next year,

Then pouring some more whisky into the Xmas pud. And writing Xmas cards ready to send the overseas ones.

I'm going to a wreath making workshop tonight with my sister - really looking forward to it!

Then planning a deep clean over the weekend ready for the tree etc on Wednesday.

Was thinking of going to Covent Garden as I think the kids will love the snow/Frozen display but we have sleet forecast so maybe next month.

It's our local town's lights switch on, with a market, carols and all that. I'm not feeling Christmassy at all, but I'm putting the tree up tomorrow, and we'll go have a look at the market. Maybe it'll put me in the mood.

Shopping both online and in Cambridge (where We also take a long and boozy lunch), putting up tree, and spray pairing some branches for a table centre piece. Excited!

Eating a mince pie with my coffee's throughout the weekend. Festive as fuck

All outdoors Christmas stuff has been cancelled here due to storm arwen. So planning a nice day of putting the tree up, nice food and Christmas songs.

I'm in Ireland so it's the Late Late Toy Show tonight and I might start decorating over the weekend.

Erm, does a karate black belt grading count??

I have friends coming over on sunday and if we have time may get the xmas trees out of the loft. That's about it!

Making a Gingerbread House

Wrapping presents to send off to grandparents next week.

Making a wreath, baking gingerbread men and going to Christmas light switch on (weather permitting). Not decorating yet but did get the Christmas playmobil out today!

Starting to get the Xmas stuff down from the loft tomorrow afternoon.

Then doing a wreath making workshop on Sunday afternoon.

Need to feed the cake.

And will hopefully find the advent wreath I bought last year in the loft to get that going.

Country living Christmas fair. Lots of mad expensive stuff but pretty to look at that. Then a hospital charity Christmas fair on Sunday

Feeding the Christmas cake. Otherwise, nothing. It’s November, far too early for me to be doing anything Christmassy!

Getting our tree but not putting it up until tuesday or Wednesday. Keeping it in our greenhouse. It is the only window of opportunity until 17th December so taking it.

Ploughing through my Hobbycraft stash so I can get the decorations up next week!

Off to Blenheim this evening for the light trail - very excited!

Then on Sunday will enjoy the lighting of the first advent candle at church, and 'be got the first mince pies of the season for tea. No decorating yet - I'm mid-December decorator - but might start making a wreath over the weekend.
