What Christmassy things are you doing this weekend?

Cheer me up whilst I am incapacitated with my bust ankle
Ligaments.

Are you doing anything festive this weekend or is it still to early. I'd planned to go shopping this evening then the a Christmas market and do bits of shopping out and about. Instead I'm Laid up on the sofa with my ankle Swelling!

Give me Inspiration for when my ankle is better.

Can someone in Ireland explain the Late Late Toy Show? It sounds so lovely.

We were supposed to go to a farm for a Santa visit with DS this morning. In a cruel twist of fate, DH got pinged by the Covid app last night as he’d been in contact with a positive case on 20th Nov. Then this morning the we found that the storm had felled trees and power cables at the farm so our Santa visit was cancelled anyway.

After getting our PCR tests we came home and ate some Costco giant mince pies!

I’m hoping that we all feel well enough tomorrow to put the decorations (we’ve all had the super cold virus!). Definitely need some Christmas cheer

We had our church Christmas fair today. The weather was atrocious but a surprising number of people battled through the winds, closed roads and falling masonry to burst through the doors saying, 'I thought you might have cancelled!'
A jolly morning, and I had my first mince pie of the year.
