Is my child's drawing good for their age?

DS is 4 (nearly 5) and he's always drawing. I obviously think they are brilliant but I'm his mum so I would. Just wondering if he's skilled for his age or if I'm seeing it through PFB lenses. I think I'm just amazed because I can't draw at all. Grin

Yes, those are definitely really good for that age!

CheeGee · 20/11/2021 14:13

He loves drawing alongside Youtube How to Draw videos. I do them with him but mine are always terrible. Grin

I think that's brilliant for 4!

Wildrobin · 20/11/2021 14:32

Those are definitely so good! My 10 year old wouldn’t draw with that detail, think they are great

Arren12 · 20/11/2021 14:33

Yes really good for age 4.

Catlovermumof1 · 20/11/2021 14:38

Wow that's amazing! I couldn't even draw that good definitely got an artistic eye!

BleuJay · 20/11/2021 14:39

They are great. I love the cat one!

Comedycook · 20/11/2021 14:39

Yes very good for a four year old

AtlasPine · 20/11/2021 14:40

Love them. Very impressive.

Streetsigntonowhere · 20/11/2021 14:41

Brilliant!

BelleNoir · 20/11/2021 14:42

They are definitely very good for his age

TheFabledSnake · 20/11/2021 14:44

Very detailed for his age, yes. My daughter's drawings are great and detailed too but she is 6!

ThirdElephant · 20/11/2021 14:44

Yes, very good for his age.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 20/11/2021 14:47

Those are brilliant. They remind me a bit of my brother’s drawings at the same sort of age. He’s now an artist.

0blio · 20/11/2021 14:49

Absolutely great for his age (well any age really because I can't draw as good as he can ) 😬

Libertaire · 20/11/2021 14:53

The cat is very good for a 4yo. I certainly couldn’t do any better, and I’m a little bit older than that…

BrushFlossSmile · 20/11/2021 14:54

Yes definitely good. My 7 yr old couldn't draw like that. In fact, I couldn't even draw like that Grin

Iamanicepersonreally · 20/11/2021 14:55

They're OK

Hellolittlestar · 20/11/2021 14:55

I think it’s very good, realistic and detailed.

1forAll74 · 20/11/2021 14:59

Yes not too bad for this age.. My son could draw and paint well at this age. Firstly he used to try and copy pictures seen in his childrens books. and then started to draw his own versions of pictures. My son was accustomed to seeing me, doing a bit of drawing, and water colour painting years ago, so he took an interest I suppose, and I always had paints and brushes and pencils and the rest all around, which he could use.

MistyFrequencies · 20/11/2021 15:02

Way way way better than my 4 nearly 5 year old can do. He's got great skill.

StrongerOrWeaker · 20/11/2021 15:05

So much better than my daughter's! Well done!

StrongerOrWeaker · 20/11/2021 15:06

(She may be setting the bar low though !!)
