If I buy really nice butter

I can't stop eating it. I could live off really nice bread and butter. I am going to have to buy some not very nice butter so I am less tempted! I think it's my favourite thing to eat.

I love butter with big crystals of salt. If for whatever bizarre reason I’m given unsalted butter, I always add salt. There’s no point, otherwise

Abernethy butter is the food of the gods so I have been told. It is hand churned I believe and sold in good delis here. Not cheap but this thread has made me really want to try it. I usually use Lurpak.

Lidl West Country butter with the salt crystals. On fresh crusty bread. So painfully good, and I cannot eat it at all at the moment.

That’s a very very good butter (hidden gem really for the price ) but the top one for me is president, it’s got a hint of sweetness, i only use it on toast, it’s such a treat

I've found my people! Once got a funny look in the supermarket when I was on the phone asking if we needed cooking butter or spreading butter. My favourites are the Lidl West County or French butter

I like putting Maldon sea salt on top of the butter

Salted Lurpak on fresh bread . I panic if I run out of Lurpak . Actually thinking about it , Lurpak on jacket spuds is divine too .

I eat a very low carb high fat diet, I buy low carb rolls from an online company and eat one a day absolutely slathered with Kerrygold.
