Chocolate brownie from the fresh bread department.

Lidl Chocstick lollies are just the best

Greek style yoghurt, best one there is.

Pain au chocolate and croissants from the bakery. Sour dough boule. Lidl Chocolate. Lidl dog treats. Lidl gin. Prosecco. Bloody love Lidl!

Cheese twists every time 😋

Pastel de nata- totally delist

Their Ben n Jerry's style ice cream

Pretzels from the bakery.

Mascerpone, squirty cream, fake pringles, garlic or chilli olive oil

Greek leek and cheese swirls
Almond and dark chocolate mini florentines (Christmas only)

The cheap mature cheddar, I buy it stuff to into dog bones but it is very edible
Sourdough boule - 40p cheaper than any of the main supermarkets
Fresh croissants and pastel de nata - very good outside of France and Portugal!

The duck spring rolls in the freezer section.

Camembert and Greek style yogurt

DH says their Greek style yoghurt is the best.
DD and I particularly like the dark chocolate digestives.
We all like anything from the bakery.

All Lidl’s ‘Dulano’ brand continental cooked meats are excellent. I often by the Black Forest ham, bratwurst & bockwurst. All delicious & super authentic.

Lidl do a very nice fruity white wine for £5.99. It’s often sold out so I think everyone likes it! It’s possibly a Sauvignon Blanc but I can’t quite remember.

I also like their smoked salmon and their brown crusty cob from the fresh baked section.

Lovely flowers too, especially the white lilies.

I like the bags of mixed nuts too.

I love Lidl.

Lots of things but above all the pains au chocolat. Best ones available anywhere as far as I’m concerned.

Also our Lidl has a machine for squeezing fresh orange juice. We’re very partial to a bottle of that.

The entire bakery, particularly the brownies

Pain au Chocolate, the mini pizzas in the bakery, Greek yoghurts, I love their sliced malted bloomer bread ( not bakery), dishwasher tablets are fine, suddenly perfume is great, mixed nuts and seeds, marmalade.

Another vote for the Pastel de Nata in the bakery section, also their low GI sourdough loaf, the German Christmas stuff... in fact lots of their German stuff in general.

Wine and chocolate. I also got DH a good pair of PJ's today.

Apparently, from a staff perspective, the pay is waaay better at IKEA though. I was evesdropping today, a conversation between an Lidl employee who was working and her friend, a former Lidl employee (who left Lidl to work at IKEA) on the shop floor.

Didn't think they got paid too bad and they seem a lot happier then the vast majority of staff in IKEA.
