Embarrassing crush on my electrician

He is lovely and sweet and has been very friendly and interested seeming in a way that is probably just professional.

He just finished a job (which requires some follow up) and wrote this:

(...) Please don’t hesitate to get in touch at any time and as many times you want if you got questions. We’ll keep in touch

I'm naturally prim and proper. I feel that any overture I could make (like suggesting a coffee???) would be exceptionally awkward and similar to a gross dude who hits on his cocktail waitress.

What to do, what to do?

I once had an electrician come to my house years ago and ask me out afterwards via text. My landlord had obviously given him my number to arrange a time to fix my electrics and he’d abused that trust if you like by using it to ask me out. I thought he was a mega creep even though he was fairly attractive and not much older than me. Anyway, he had a girlfriend and daughter when I did some digging so I did the right thing turning him down!

@Hemingwayscats

This electrician has behaved admirably the whole time.

I continue to believe he's into me (if only for my own ego!) But part of the difficulty is that he doesn't seem like a dirtbag. I almost wish he would be so I could decide he's terrible Grin

But like I said - I will pay the invoice and we will all move on!

Update: he hasn't jacked up his prices or cheated me, but he did ask if I would provide a testimonial for his website.

I must be embarrassingly Julia-esque Grin
