TRIGGER WARNING!!

Wtf have I just seen on Twitter?! I won't post a link, but you can Google it if you actually want to, although I should say it made me weep with rage!

Some absolutely vile excuse for a human being decided to kick and punch a horse for wandering off. It's shocking.

My blood is boiling! How dare they?! What will happen to them? Please someone tell me they will be at the very least, banned from ever owning an animal of any kind ever again.

What is the matter with people? Seriously need my faith restoring in humanity today.

Angry Angry

@CovidCorvid

Also *@TheFairyCaravan* incidents such as yours prove they’re not trail hunting like they often claim…..because why would they lay a fake scent trail across a road?
Precisely. If it was any other social group they might be targeted for prosecution, but people are far too keen to doff their caps to this type.

I’m a massive animal lover and I’m not condoning her behaviour in any way. But let’s remember this is a real person. She will have her whole life ruined for this. More so than someone who commuted the same crime against a human. Most of the people outraged eat meat or dairy from an industry that is is exceptionally cruel to animals. We all need to improve animal welfare, individually and systematically. Kangaroo courting one women into never being able to leave the house again, losing her jobs, her animals and her friends isn’t going to help.

CovidCorvid · 09/11/2021 06:53

She won’t have her life ruined. None of her mates will care. She won’t lose her job. I doubt the rspca will prosecute. Worst case for her is she’s booted out the pony club and some of the school parents think poorly of her for a bit but I’m sure she’ll brazen it out. It will soon be yesterday’s news. Sadly.

Good. I hope she looses her job too and the parents have risen up and demanded her removal. If she was taught by my child I’d either want her gone or I’d change school.

And if she’d violently assaulted a child or some other helpless person my reaction would be the same.

Bluntness100 · 09/11/2021 06:55

And the RSPCA do prove if proven acts of deliberate violence. You don’t get any more proven of deliberate than this.

RutlandVasey · 09/11/2021 06:57

I think my post was too subtle.

She has brought negative attention to the Cottesmore Hunt. She will be frozen out.

She’ll say it wasn’t cruelty….that a couple of smacks is ok. Sadly in the horse world it does seem ok for some. Yes I know there’s a lot of horse people who will say it’s not ok. And I say that as an ex riding instructor. A lot of my relatives still have horses and I’ve certainly seen one of them punch a horse which was misbehaving. This woman will argue that due to the size of the animal it amounts to no more than a tap and not cruelty so it will be difficult to prove. I hope I’m wrong but I’d be amazed if she’s prosecuted and even more amazed if she’s found guilty.

This awful woman loosing her shit with her beautiful horse won't come close to the RSPC's threshold of prosecution.

Nasty people bully their horses and dogs routinely and get away with it, (and their partners and kids).

I am sorry to bang in about it but I want people to know the truth so maybe they can stop thinking that we as a society have this covered. We don't.

Bluntness100 · 09/11/2021 07:04

Well of course she will say it’s ok to be violent to animals. She’s permitted a defence. Doesn’t mean she wins a prosecution because of it.

TheLovelinessOfDemons · 09/11/2021 07:06

This distresses me so much. I now want to take that horse and protect it. I also want kick and punch the person who did it.

KaleJuicer · 09/11/2021 07:06

The DM is naming her and have identified her as a primary school teacher

Summersnake · 09/11/2021 07:12

Wow a primary school teacher ,being that violent towards a defenceless animal …Christ what is she like with the children 😢😢😢😢

Hodl · 09/11/2021 07:16

Awful behaviour from this woman.
If anything good can come from this, its that the spotlight is once again on hunting and especially illegal hunting. I was brought up in the countryside and know what goes on. Vile stuff.

CovidCorvid · 09/11/2021 07:21

Well the woman who tied her dog to a rock and threw it in the river Trent only got an £80 fine so I have no faith that this woman will get any worse. I seriously don’t think she will be prosecuted.

Blessex · 09/11/2021 07:24

Well it’s the top news story in the Daily Mail. She won’t be waking up well today. What she does is sickening. That poor horse.

Indoctro · 09/11/2021 07:26

Named and shamed

Video included incase anyone doesn't want to see it

BlueberrySugar · 09/11/2021 07:29

You're right they're scumbags.

I once witnessed someone punching a horse and whipping it with its rein type thing because it refused to get into the trailer. This was right outside my house. I videoed the lot and called the rspca. Not seen that horse with them since. Or any horse in that in fact.

Oh, dear. My heart simply bleeds for her.

It wasn’t a couple of snacks though. She kicked it first. She lost her temper with it for no reason at all. Nothing that horse could’ve done deserved that kick.

Dropitlikeitssloth · 09/11/2021 07:33

Also the RSOCA will just publicly condemn it but what will they actually do?

Aww bless her right? Don't think you'd say the same if it was a man.

She's an animal abuser. She needs to be outed and loose her jobs. She done this in public. Imagine what she does when she's alone with the horse. No wonder it tried to run off.

So, if she thinks a couple of kicks and punches are harmless, then she won't mind someone doing the same to her then.
After all, it's harmless!! 😡
I wonder how she gets the kids in her class to do as they're told??
