Wtf have I just seen on Twitter?! I won't post a link, but you can Google it if you actually want to, although I should say it made me weep with rage!

Some absolutely vile excuse for a human being decided to kick and punch a horse for wandering off. It's shocking.

My blood is boiling! How dare they?! What will happen to them? Please someone tell me they will be at the very least, banned from ever owning an animal of any kind ever again.

What is the matter with people? Seriously need my faith restoring in humanity today.

I can't understand why she hasn't been identified. The numberplate of the trailer is clearly visible and two members of hunt staff ho were there, were identified on twitter so they must know who she is.

As a lifelong horse lover, it makes me so cross to see any abuse of them.

Yes and people are retweeting a photo of her too. A clear full on face photo, tagging RSPCA too!

I have just seen this on Twitter and it made me feel utterly sick to my stomach. Horrid woman. Reminded me of that idiot YouTuber who accidentally left in a vlog footage of her abusing her dog.

Apart from the cruelty, what an idiot this woman is. She punishes the horse for allowing itself to be caught. As a PP has pointed out, horses do need a bit of discipline, else they can become dangerous, but she's not even administering discipline. She's got a rotten temper and is taking it out on the poor horse. Appalling.

I say this as a horse owner. That video is despicable. The pony is so sweet, it stops and allows itself to be caught, then she snatches it from the other person and abuses it. It is disgusting.

Do you know what though? the next time they try to ride it, it will stand and allow them to. It will probably do it's job the way it's been trained to do and do you know why?

Because horses and other animals are a million times better than humans are. I hope she is found, I hope she is punished and I hope that she is banned from keeping animals. I won't be holding my breath though.

Glad she's been identified and is hopefully punished for it, if not via a legal route then at least by the public and her reputation, I absolutely despise people who harm animals, that poor horse. I wouldn't be surprised if she regularly treats the other horses the same

We withdrew from a Pony Club after only two occasions as we were so appalled at the behaviour being displayed by the children and going uncorrected. One lad started beating his young mare because she shied at something, calling her the vilest language. He was loud and aggressive my daughter's pony started spooking. All the adults ignored it. This behaviour is not common but if kids are taught this is how you discipline horses, this is what some will do. I am horrified she has anything to do with the PC. While some horses do need discipline to mind their manners and keep them safe to be around, I agree with PP, this woman interfered after the pony was caught and was standing quietly and just laid into it. No way should she be teaching children how to handle ponies!

It;s not common in the horse world in any of the liveries or yards I have been in. I watched the video and can say that if any of my horsey friends or I had seen that behaviour we would have called her out on it.

I am hopeful that there are repercussions, because her behaviour is inexcusable.

My neighbours do this all the time to their horse. RSPCA were called and they beat the guy up. So it continues. They even pulled it so hard up a slope it fell over on a main road and still nothing was done.

Agree laws need to change and it can't be down to theRSPCA to enforce .
