I just had cold potatoes straight from the can.

I was delighted when I found a bag of frozen mozzarella sticks in the freezer the other day. Cooked up then dipped in sweet chilli sauce, they were yummy!

A couple of weeks ago I bit into a (fairly old but not mouldy) nectarine. The stone broke in half and a thousand tiny creatures fell out, all over me. Upon googling, these were earwigs and it's not entirely uncommon. That was the most hideous lunch I have ever had and I will never look at a nectarine again.

I just sat there shovelling them in.
Felt great at the time.
Less so immediately afterwards.

The other day I had a McCains microwave jacket potato with potato salad as a filling. (Nothing else left in the house)

It was very nice actually

A tin of refried beans, heated up with cheese on top. Yummy. 😁

mackerel in tomato sauce and beetroot sandwich and a bag of cheese and onion crisps. Delicious and not an earwig in sight.

Only one poster here has hit the brief.

All others I would eat.

My worst wfh ‘lunch’ (which made an appearance at other times too until I got strict with myself) was the mayonnaise toastie. Two ingredients - guess what.

Holy fuck that nectarine story

Went my work bag after 16 months and found chocolate. God knows how I missed that!! I ate it though, it was delish.

When things get desperate I tend to just open the fridge door, unhinge my jaw and throw stuff in. I ate a whole jar of olives last week as a snack

UUUUUGGGGHHHH me too! I was on holiday and I got such a fright that I threw the nectarine away from me - and accidentally out of the window. If you were walking down the street in Italy once and an earwiggy nectarine landed on your head I apologise unreservedly

I once caught DH emerging from the kitchen with a plate on which were four mini pork pies and some Haribo.

He hadn't even got the Haribo on a separate plate, instead they were artistically scattered over the pork pies.

Not gross really, but definitely unhealthy.
