Curry’s glitch if you want a cheap laptop

Just ordered a Dell laptop for £99! Now got to wait and see if my order actually comes next week. Anyone in the market for one should consider getting on the site and giving it a go. Dying to know if it will turn up!

Don’t think it will support more than internet browsing.

I showed it to DH as thought it would be great for DC and he who said for the memory and spec, it is overpriced at £99 and won’t support the new version of Windows that is coming out. He is a computer guy though and doesn’t get that some people just want to use the laptop for browsing the Internet.

I've just ordered one and had a confirmation email saying it'll be delivered on Friday 5th. Mines really slow now so hopefully it comes! Does anyone know if it's a half decent laptop? Thanks OP!

I ordered one and sent the link to a couple of people I know.

One who knows a lot about computers sent me a message back saying it is cheap for a reason, that Pentium processors are rubbish and it will struggle to even handle Facebook.

I'm going to see if I can cancel my order!

You can cancel on online order for something like this up to 14 days after receiving the item.

I’ve just ordered one for DH. He’s always moaning about his laptop. He only goes on it to write letters etc. He’s got a separate works laptop. If he doesn’t want it in the morning I’ll see if I can cancel it or return it when it comes,

Good way for a company to offload a not very good product. Make people think there's a pricing error and they're taking advantage of it and getting a massive bargain.
Meanwhile company has more than made their money back on the product, got rid of a load of items that people would have looked at much more carefully and possibly not wanted had they not been rushing to get one before the company realised their 'mistake'.

That's what I'd do if I wanted to get rid of a load of fairly basic stuff that was not going to be able to handle updates coming soon.
