Breakfast for dinner, so porridge with almonds and blueberries and banana, or eggs on toast with mushrooms, tomato, spinach and avocado.

TenFootTall · 23/10/2021 19:14

Chips with salt and vinegar then mozzarella cheese mixed with onion on top!

Or breaded mushrooms with mayo.

Or potato waffle toast sandwich.

Or... I could go on!

I'm enjoying a sausage sandwich as we speak Smile

AtPanAtPan · 23/10/2021 19:19

Party food. Every other week we get the 3 for £5 type stuff from Tesco. It’s a bung in the over for 20 mins type thing. Occasionally we Cook frozen vegetables alongside it to take the edge off the beige. Hits the spot!

SugarMouseTown · 23/10/2021 19:20

Onions and pancetta fried in lots of garlic and black pepper. I add peas too because I love them and it adds some freshness. Udon noodles cooked in boiling water for a minute then drained then stirred through the onion, pea, pancetta mix then add a bit of double cream until it's lightly coated then stick in a bowl and add grated cheese of your choice. It takes barely any time to cook and I really like the texture of the udon noodles with it.

Cuppy eggs and buttered toast or tinned chicken in white sauce and rice.
Or a tin of Spam.

SugarMouseTown · 23/10/2021 19:22

Or tuna crunch melt ciabatta. I add chopped pepper and red onion to the tuna with mayonnaise then stick in a ciabatta, add mozzarella on top and melt it.(Grill or pain but when I'm lazy I just stick it in the microwave briefly.
