What do you eat when you just want crappy comfort food, but not a takeaway or a full cook from scratch meal

My go to is always plain pasta with a shit tonne of grated cheddar and pepper on.

Heart attack on a plate but damn its quick, easy and delicious.

Bacon and cheese toastie or spaghetti carbonara, seriously 98% quicker than you think. Or fried mushrooms (in butter) on toast.

Cheese on toast
Jam on toast
A tin of beans & sausages on toast
Cheese & ham toastie
Fish finger sandwich
Crisp sandwich

Pasta bake out of a jar, slightly over cooked and with loads of cheese
A pie with a heavily buttered soft baguette

Cheap pack of chicken noodle ( the ones with the little sachet) eaten soupy with extra salt, sometimes grated cheddar cheese on top!

A fish finger sandwich containing exactly the below and nothing more:

Battered fish fingers - 4
White kingsmill toastie bread
Slither of butter
Tartar sauce

Pasta cooked in chicken stock with loads of grated cheese.

Or cheese on toast with onion and a lot of Worcester sauce.

Or homemade chicken curry flavour Pot Noodles - medium egg noodles cooked in chicken stock with curry powder added. Done in 5 minutes. 🙂

Chicken super noodles with a fried egg on top Blush (if I feel I really need some veg - throw some chopped kale in the oven with Chinese five spice, a sprinkling of brown sugar and soy sauce 'til it gets all crispy like the "seaweed" you get from the Chinese takeaway)
or:
Baked potato with beans and cheese (classic)
Cheese on toast (also classic)
Toast and peanut butter or lots of butter and a scrape of marmite
