Very lazy, and say nothing, don't you think?

Any others anyone can think of?

Living their best life
Also be kind

SpindleWharl · 14/10/2021 17:36

Yep, #BeKind.

To whom? Abusive shit-fucks? No thank you.

butterflyze · 14/10/2021 17:36

The words 'anxiety' and 'anxious' when used by people who are just a bit worried about something specific and relatively minor.

One of my family was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder (by both her GP and a psychologist) several years ago, so I am aware of how anxiety has a profound effect on someone's whole life.

You don't have 'anxiety' when you are worried you're going to miss the bus, you are just a bit worried.

Friyay

Mental health issues (this bugs me as apparently everyone has mental health issues or needs to look after their mental health) I had to watch a close family member have a serious full breakdown and watching what he was going through and later admitted is one of the worst things I’ve had to witness and assist with so when people say their day to day life affects their mental health I do roll my eyes, obviously lots of people have depression and breakdowns but according to SM everyone is having serious breakdowns over general day to day life, surely they just need a friends or family member to talk to and help support them not a full mental health team and drugs

Muminabun · 14/10/2021 17:51

Inclusive. In reality it usually means anything but.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/10/2021 17:52

"Christmas is too commercialised" (only if you let it , you can spend what you choose to)

"Hallowe'en is another American import" (it isn;t)

Thighdentitycrisis · 14/10/2021 18:13

midsomermurderess · 14/10/2021 18:24

On here, 'red flag'. I thought 'controlling', 'get your ducks in a row', and the ridiculous 'narc' had passed out if fashion, but like moles, they do keep popping up.

JMAngel1 · 14/10/2021 18:30

As you were - usually posted on here in a smug tone.

Imohsotired · 14/10/2021 18:34

Oh god @butterflyze I agree with this. Sometimes you’re just experiencing STRESS!!! It’s quite bloody normal Hmm

MapleMay11 · 14/10/2021 19:02

On here:
Give over/do give over
Give your head a wobble

Never heard any of these uttered by a single person IRL

Daisyhoney · 14/10/2021 19:04

Going forward - seems to be tacked to the end of a lot of sentences. Why? Is there another direction we can go in? Really irritates me.

SockFluffInTheBath · 14/10/2021 19:06
