#BeKind
All part of the plan
You are part of the problem
Educate yourself

Very lazy, and say nothing, don't you think?

Any others anyone can think of?

OP posts:
Camblewick · 16/10/2021 08:07

And so it begins ...

I fucking hate that one more than any of them. Closely followed by:

Incorrect use of 'myself'
Hubby/hubster etc
Holibobs
You do you

Camblewick · 16/10/2021 08:08

Oh and all this bloody 'calling out'.

hamstersarse · 16/10/2021 08:09

Just generally the use of the word safe

Stay safe
Safe space
It’s not safe

Fuck off

LiteralVioletz · 16/10/2021 08:21

@Camblewick

Oh and all this bloody 'calling out'.
Often now horrendously abbreviated to just 'calling'.

'So I called her on it'

Aaaaagh

Camblewick · 16/10/2021 08:25

@LiteralVioletz
'So I called her on it'

Just when you think these phrases can't get any more irritating!

FrenchBoule · 16/10/2021 08:50

@immersivereader

Sharing is caring

Ugh sickening

Told usually by people who don’t care to share but are quick to share somebody else’s stuff. Sod that
TheCategoryIs · 16/10/2021 09:13

And just like that [little Mabel is 23]

Showcasing their burgeoning baby bump [literally said about at least one woman every day in the Daily Mail. Showcasing, like there’s a way to hide a baby bump]

5 sleeps to go [until my holiday]

salsmum · 16/10/2021 19:55

Crimbo aggghhhh
'Think about what you're doing/what you've done'
Not a saying per say but the fact that there's so much clothing with french words spread across it 'moi' 'petite moi' etc... 🤬🤬
Moving forward 🙄
Eh, in replace of pardon etc when you didn't hear something.
Sick
Little princess
Little man
My friend took her little dog to the vets the other day to be PTS.. the vet nurse came over to her afterwards rubbed her shoulder then said 'have a good day! 😲😲🤬🤬🤬WTAF???

JohnStonesMissus · 16/10/2021 23:09

And so it begins.. it's so twee and sickly ugh, people usually say it when elf on a shelf is brought down from the loft..

SapphireSeptember · 16/10/2021 23:18

@70isaLimitNotaTarget

Agree with you about Halloween, I get fed up with that nonsense.

The word 'valid' gets on my nerves when used about people. Train tickets are valid, people are not, they just exist.

Inclusive/safe space, while actively discriminating against people you don't agree with and trying to take away their safe spaces, Oh, we see you.

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 16/10/2021 23:25

Calling (someone) out. Unless you’re actually going to face them in a duel, you’re just criticising them.
(Some celeb or other) claps back.
Speaking my truth.
Feeling “unsafe” because someone has said something you disagree with.
You do you.
Just sayin’.
Rainbow baby.
Hun. Unless you’re talking about nomadic invaders from Central Asia.
You got this.

tedsletterofthelaw · 16/10/2021 23:36

Offended

The word has lost all meaning

MrsLCSofLichfield · 17/10/2021 02:42

We need to live with it now.

primrosee · 17/10/2021 02:47

Dyslexic
ADHD

back in my day (I'm only 35) you were just told to work harder. Too many people now don't read literature and blame their spelling on dyslexia.

primrosee · 17/10/2021 02:47

Do your own research - usually comes from someone with no GCSEs.

primrosee · 17/10/2021 02:50

'This ☝🏻 ' - when someone makes a comment on mumsnet. What happened to a normal 'I agree'?

'My world'

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 17/10/2021 02:51

‘Long story short…’.
It never is short!

Riapia · 17/10/2021 06:10

“ I feel you “
Not without my permission you don’t.

MrsDThomas · 17/10/2021 07:02

Making memories - your little cherubs wont remember.

Keep safe-tired of hearing it.

Thinking outside the box-WTF.

Christmas eve box -isn’t Christmas Day enough?!

Rainbow baby - never heard of it till i came here. Only those under a certain age use it.

Glassofshloer · 17/10/2021 07:25

Agree with all of these!

Also the #breastfeedingcosleepingmummy shite on insta.

autumnlights · 17/10/2021 08:34

Also can't stand hearing phrases such as 'thundering walloper' and other overused, meaningless insults designed to dramatically end a discussion on their own terms.

Pheebs2021 · 17/10/2021 12:20

Being referred to as 'guys' especially in a work context by an absolute twat "come on guys".

'Enjoy' being used as marketing ... "Enjoy 3 years interest credit"

My bloke

Shops using pet names "hey babe don't miss this sale" etc eww!

Pheebs2021 · 17/10/2021 12:27

Apologise. When being used in reference to parliament making absolute fuck ups "you should apologise" " x apologised " oh that's fine then so long as they said an empty apology.

GinIronic · 17/10/2021 12:28

Calling out someone.
Reaching out to someone.

MarshaBradyo · 17/10/2021 12:32

Key worker
Full of.. eg cold (bleurgh)
