£7 ÷ 4 = £1.75 pp. There may be a portion leftover for a lunch for one of the kids....

Tonight we had macaroni cheese

Butter, plain flour, mustard £0.50 (roughly?)
Milk £0.50 roughly
Tomato £0.06

Total £2.58 divided by 4 portions (should have got 5 but we were greedy) = £0.65 a person.

We shop at lidl.

Three of us had:

Pork belly - £4
M&S Carolina BBQ pulled pork - £5
Hassle back potatoes - £1.49
Apple and green bean salad - approx £1
Total - £11.49
So £3.83 per person.

We did have a can of lime Pepsi with it at about 50p and M&S individual Victoria Sandwiches for dessert at about 55p each.

We had a Thai takeaway tonight, £90.

£22.50 per person!

Roasted red onion, sweet potato and tomatoes with 5 beans in chilli sauce and grated cheese, cost £1.25 @ 63p/serving. Was really filling as well.

DC had burgers, except the youngest who had a cheese roll. Buns x3 30p, cheese 10p, 2 burgers 50p, oven chips 25p, homemade coleslaw 20p, salad 30p, ketchup 10p, butter 5p. £2.30 for 3, 77pence a person.

I had a chicken chargrill 50p, garlic butter mushrooms 50p, a little bit of parmesan 5p, salad 15p, grilled tomato 10p, homemade coleslaw 20p, salad 15p, sauerkraut 10p, pickled onions 5p, a few oven chips 5p, ketchup about 2p for the chips. £1.87 for me.

Chorizo, beans and green lentil salad, about £2.50 each.

Only me eating tonight.
