What little things make your life better?

Other than the big stuff like love, family, support, a good job... what are the small things that make your life better or give you a lift?

For me, it has to be good music, interesting podcasts and fresh flowers. Oh and a new notepad and a pen that writes nicely.

Fresh sheets
The day my cleaner comes
When I hang up all the dry washing
When I get an hour in bed to myself in the evening to watch one of 'my' tv shows
Bakewell tarts
A good TV show is my favoured relax / escapism so I live having something to watch
Roast dinner in the pub and coming home to a lazy afternoon and a clean kitchen
Cosy socks
Hot water bottle. I work from home and have painful joints so the warmth really helps
DH bringing me a decent coffee in the morning

Thursdays. My cleaners here at the moment (I’m working from home today but don’t usually). Thursday is my last day of the week. And I get Fridays off with the dc. Yay.

Also love nice fresh sheets (see Thursdays and cleaners). Fresh flowers. Tidy house.

And sunshine.

I’ve got all the windows open today. It is glorious. Blue skies. It’s 17 degrees. Bit of a breeze. Fabulous.
