Do you ever eat in bed?

I don't mean like a cup of tea and biscuits.. Do you ever eat food in bed?
Every so often after a shite day of work I order a takeaway and eat it on my bed.. Before I go to bed I hoover up any crumbs and then put the sheets in the wash the following morning.. I'm not a messy eater but there's always invisible crumbs.

No, not even toast, can't stand the idea of it. Didn't even like it when this summer the hotel delivered us breakfast (dumped in a bag outside the door) because the kitchen was closed and we had a table in our room, just eating in the bedroom is wrong (breakfast in bed is a weird thing to do)

The odd bit of toast but that’s once in a very blue moon. Too much faff.

@EdgeOfTheSky Me too, nothing better than reading with a nice glass of red on the bedside table.

NO. The only time food goes upstairs in my house is if someone is ill.

Often - love it! Especially if it’s been a really crappy day at work with a late finish.

This obsession with “crumbs” is a bit odd - not all food is crumby. If it is, I am perfectly capable of using cutlery, plate or bowl and a tray. Plus a linen napkin, if that helps? The bedclothes are unscathed.

When I eat at the table (which is most of the time), I manage to do so without spraying food everywhere too.

Bowl food in bed is best though- can’t beat some spicy noodles or pasta with a cold beer/wine and some good tv (horrors) or a book.

I’m the only user of my bed, which makes it easier. The dog will visit too, which I’m sure will appall folk too.

I used to think tv in bed was a unnecessary or a bit downmarket. I then grew up, and realised that it’s of no one else’s concern, and whatever gets me through stressful times is a good thing.

Too many “toos” in there- please excuse

Breakfast in bed on Saturdays with kiddos and a family movie, lovely way to start a weekend Smile

do you get back up to brush your teeth? This would be my problem with eating in bed - having to get up again in the freezing cold to clean my teeth for a second time.

House to myself so never because there is no TV upstairs and since I have to go downstairs to make the food, makes zero sense then taking it upstairs.

In winter I do have a spare duvet I use to keep warm on the sofa so I could kind of say I do
