Is anyone else THRILLED that Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp are all down?!

No. I don’t care about Fb and have never used insta but no WhatsApp is a pain in the arse.

No my daughter was trying to get through to me and was hanging out the fucking window thinking it was lack of signal im over 100 miles away i would rather she didn't break her neck

No, I can't check in with my team after their visits and I can't chat to my boyfriend who is currently abroad. I'm annoyed.

On the bright side, I finally got around to sorting through all the crap paperwork that has collected on my bookshelves over the last nine months, so my bookshelves now look neat and tidy again.

I could do with social media crashing for one hour every evening, it makes me do stuff Grin

DDs rather enjoy their nightly video call with their father. Voice calls aren't quite the same...

(Internet calling can be a lifeline for those who can't see their families regularly, especially in different countries. DH hasn't been able to come home for over two weeks now and its just been extended again. Stupid Covid)

My DH always really rolls his eyes if I get stressed when I haven't got my phone thinking I'm just wasting time on fb (he doesn't know about MN!🤣) but what he forgets is that I check all the school emails, work emails, home emails etc and use WhatsApp to communicate with our kids, let them know what time i will be home etc

Why on earth would we be thrilled? That's just weird. They're a part of life now like many other things, communication is so important for very many of us, no I'm not thrilled, far from it.

Just a heads up, Viber is an app very similar to WhatsApp for those struggling with no video calls etc

But I am worried for those who use them for social contact and general contact as it will affect them.
