I'm surprised there are no threads on this, there were loads about ant mcpartlin.

I have no sympathy for drink/drug driving but it's so sad the way her life has turned out. I hope she can sort herself out.

I think she truly loved Peter as well, and hasn't really recovered since their split. On top of her previous trauma and some lining up to take advantage of her it's a recipe for disaster. I hope she manages to find the support she needs but also takes responsibility for the crash.

None of us are perfect.

Oh, give over. I don't claim to be perfect but there's no way I'd get pissed, take coke then go for a drive to get more coke while already banned & with no insurance. Then crash the car. I'm not joining in with any pity party for her. These are choices she made. She didn't have to do what she did. She just lucky she didn't injure or kill anyone.

However you can see the woman is a good mother define good mother. Imo good mothers don't continually put their lives and freedom at risk.

Re the cruelty to Harvey if she goes to jail. That's for Katie to consider before she repeatedly breaks the law.

Of course she didn't have to do what she did, pretty sure its an almighty cry for help. I hope she receives the appropriate punishment as it was bloody dangerous, but similarly doesn't seem the actions of someone who is doing well, especially alongside her other behaviour. Is it not possible to feel both empathy and annoyance?

She's constantly looking for answers in all the wrong places, everything is in turmoil, outwardly and inwardly.
Love, money or fame hasnt brought her happiness or peace of mind, in fact the opposite.

Along with the other six convictions? How much 'help' does she need. People have said it before on here, I have. If she was Sandra from Salford she'd have been sent to prison years ago and Social Services would be all over her. She might even have had the kids taken off her. So no, I'm sorry but she's getting no sympathy from me any more.

I think she’s very unwell, her face and body are such a mess following so much surgery , her personal life is in a precarious situation, ans she’s a drug addict and alcoholic.

In all honesty I don’t believe a normal custodial sentence is what’s needed here. Maybe a mental health hospital or something similar. I think honestly she desperately needs help and needs to get it or this will end up in tragedy, she will end up dead.

Quite a few of us up and down the country are using the roads at this time of day. Cycling or driving to work, exercising dogs and horses, early morning joggers. She could have killed any of them. Zero sympathy. The 'family Instagram' today was simply damage limitation by her publicist. She needs jailing, but she'll get a conditional at best I'll wagerHmm

She's been banned six times, she doesn't care about anyone but herself.

I have no sympathy for Katie, that has long since gone.
Every guy she meets is 'the one', her kids are used as props and for media attention. Poor Harvey times she's used him to her advantage, knowing full well it'll subject him to vile abuse and ridicule online.
She's been in and out of the Priory but never actually undertakes fully any programmes or procedures they implement, she drops in and out when she chooses. That isn't getting proper care.

Her bankruptcy hearings are a joke, she pleads poverty and is then pictured on elaborate and exotic holidays, and buying mountains of useless tat for her kids, or buying expensive gifts for whichever guy she's latched on to.

Nobody else would get away with such behaviour, she's constantly sticking two fingers up to the law and her lifestyle is driven mostly by her self-centred and selfish behaviour. This needs to stop. Nobody else would be able to carry on as she does, she's not above the law.

I find it hard to have sympathy when she could have easily killed someone. She has had plenty of run ins with the law over her driving and personally I think she deserves a custodial sentence, rehab clearly isn't working.

It’s not a cry for help , if she hadn’t crashed her car people would be non the wiser, unless you’re saying she deliberately crashed the car.

I wasn't keen on the press release from her boyfriend. He called her a "rough diamond" that needed polishing to shine or some shit. I felt really sorry for her as I suspect he could be part of her current problem.

If someone had been coming the other way when this latest accident happened, they could easily have been killed.

On the other hand, there have been countless male celebrities and footballers over the years who go on binges and drive, some who abandon their DC altogether , who don't receive half the vitriol that Katie Price does.

Don't get me wrong, she deserves to be put on trial for what she did this morning, but the level of vitriol she receives in the press and on sm is off the scale, when men do this sort of thing all the time without much damage to their careers : Ant McPartlin, Chris Tarrant and Wayne Rooney to name a few.

She didn't seem comfortable in her own skin (and plastic) on Masterchef, was sad to watch. Been in the public eye that long and still doesn't know herself. Almost shy naturally.

She clearly has issues and I'd imagine a lot of why kids and Harvey live elsewhere is for their own safety and because she'd be at risk at them being taken off her.

She's forever finding these men though, and it can't always be blamed on the men! According to her it's never her fault, it's always the guys fault. She's got to shoulder some of the blame at some point. They can't all be wrong! Whenever they leave her they go on and forge happy, stable relationships. She doesn't. She just veers from one bad situation to the next in a very toxic way.

She seems to think she's too famous for any of this triviality like driving bans to affect her and as soon as the latest news hit I said to dh she'll go down hhe mental health path to try and avoid a custodial sentence. I mean why should she have to bother with the little things like insurance etc. She is famous.

Also interesting to see her wearing the 50k engagement ring in photos from the 27th, the one she claimed was stolen the night of her altercation with persons unknown. Be fascinating to know if she'd put in a claim for that or if we can add insurance fraud to her ever growing list.

Her life went badly wrong when she split with Pete I think. He could have saved her from all this but too late now. I have always liked her for how brilliant she is with Harvey. I hope she's OK.
What a load of bull. Why should the orange one save her?! She has been a wreckage for years unfortunately. Her life started spiralling when she let the footballer stick a toe up her foof and her porn video was "leaked" . She has such an additive personality. I used to feel sorry for her but there's only so much sympathy you can have for her. Her poor kids.

There was a blind, earlier this year I think, that a famous mum of 5 was about to have her kids taken into care because of her partying and they were trying to get their dads to step in and take them. It was said at the time it was likely Katie. So it seems this is not a new thing. Especially as if others have said she's been seen driving about while banned. How has she not been seen driving by the press or the police before this accident happened? Perhaps this is her low point and she will take rehab seriously. I don't know what will happen to her if she doesn't, I don't think it will end well.
