I think a Jamie Dornan is a good shout, but it may be a relative unknown.

Ten years ago my money would have been on Idris Elba, but I think his optimum age has passed.

Whoever it is must have the twinkle in his eye, that’s what unites all the Bonds and makes him sexy.

I hope its not a woman, will ruin it. (Dr Who springs to mind )

I agree that casting a woman would be a disaster. I don't think it'll happen, though.
The whole Bond franchise has been ruined by Daniel Craig anyway - as if Bond ever had blonde hair; what a f*ing joke! - they may as well cast someone like Russel Grant, Steeve Coogan or Ricky Gervais

I am going to take a punt on Harry Styles

This may be the only thing that would compel me to watch a Bond film.

Or (slightly) more likely, I like the Tom Hardy suggestion.

Tom Hardy is too old now, despite always being on the bookies lists.

Richard Madden is a good call.

It's also a really conservative franchise and I seriously doubt they'd go for a POC or female Bond.

I reckon it’s going to be Richard Madden. He’s just known enough but not identified with another character so a bit like Daniel Craig when he got the gig. Plus The Bodyguard was basically an extended audition.

My personal choice would be Daniel Kaluuya. He’s got acting chops, a British accent, looks like he could chin a baddie and handsome enough to drop the knickers on a nun.

Nicholas Hoult is young and rather easy on the eye and a bloody good actor.

I do think the person I'd most like to see walking out if the waves in his trunks is Adam Peatty though after his Sterling performance on strictly at the weekend.

(Clive Owen would have been an amazing bond).
