counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

I scored 90, I am diagnosed with anxiety, depression and bpd but I've often wondered if it may be asd/adhd instead, I'm too awkward and nervous to talk to a doctor though especially in covid times in case they say I'm wasting their time

Look up the Russell Barkley rating scale for ADHD. It's based on a much broader sample and it's more objective - the ratings are quantified into every day / less than once a week etc so it's not all "somewhat/infrequently" which will mean different things to different people.

32 - very organised, logical but always busy and rarely sit still. No ADHD though.

tobypercy · 27/09/2021 20:57

@SusannaM

79. Hmm...I've massively underachieved in my life, find it difficult to prioritise, struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and have often wondered about ADHD. But I'm not fidgety, or constantly on the go.
Have a google of "inattentive type ADHD".

I've read that ADHD has been chronically under-diagnosed in girls because they tend to exhibit the attention issues without so much of the hyperactivity.

I got 85 and am diagnosed with ADHD but those questions don't have parity with the ones that formed my ADHD assessment.

HollysBush · 27/09/2021 20:57

I got 28

MrsAvocet · 27/09/2021 20:57

15 for me

  1. I am quite a “still” person and although I easily get distracted abs struggle to finish projects I’m emotionally very stable (some would say bland) and veer towards lazy in movement.
Youcancallmeval · 27/09/2021 20:58

92, don't have ADHD.

No ADHD that I’m aware of!

No ADHD AFAIK

  1. I think a lot of these features might have cross over with anxiety as well though.
YodaiamsaidI · 27/09/2021 20:59

Not surprising but I wouldn't feel comfortable going for diagnosis.Been diagnosed with Clinical depression and Social anxiety though.

77 ha no surprise. No anxiety or distress and ok with some impulse control but the noise and movement and loud multichannel brain. Always feel like I run on fast but I like it mostly. Am disorganised, prone to risk taking and have too much fight rather than flight.

chipshopElvis · 27/09/2021 20:59

34 OP. I'm not very good at concentrating but I am good at planning!

  1. Sometimes I wonder if I have ADD because I find it really hard to get things done, time just passes me by. I have absolutely no routine and find it hard to implement routines because I have no sense of time.
irregularegular · 27/09/2021 21:00

I got 32. I would also not consider myself likely to have ADHD.

Ouchiehelpneeded · 27/09/2021 21:00

97 for me. I have a diagnosis and take meds (I answered the qs as if unmedicated).

I'm amazed by people who score

privateinfo · 27/09/2021 21:01

94, suspected ADHD for a long time

Anordinarymum · 27/09/2021 21:01

I scored 47 but then I am a bit OCD

DramaAlpaca · 27/09/2021 21:02

I scored 14.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 27/09/2021 21:03
  1. I am not diagnosed nor suspected to have ADHD
CoasterCoaster · 27/09/2021 21:03

I scored 68, have a (as yet undiagnosed) 12 year old with suspected ASD and am recognising more and more traits in myself that I now realise aren't really NT.
