Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

I scored 18 and I did answer honestly (based on an average day). Wouldn’t say I have ADHD at all.

Bolognesedoc · 27/09/2021 21:04

65 - higher than I thought!

Never occurred to me I have ADHD. I do get anxious and overthink things....

nordicnorth · 27/09/2021 21:04
  1. No ADHD diagnosis but I do have diagnosed ASD.
Evesgarden · 27/09/2021 21:04

EekGoesTheBaby · 27/09/2021 21:05

I got 26.

Garriet · 27/09/2021 21:06

I scored 50, I do have ADHD (diagnosed). My assessment and diagnosis was nothing at all like this “quiz”.

Jigsawprison · 27/09/2021 21:06

Score of 19. I'm surprised as although I don't think I have adhd I suspect I may be on autistic spectrum and I also have ptsd, anxiety and depression which I feel have overlapping characteristics.

CarrotSticks23 · 27/09/2021 21:06

97! No adhd diagnosis but have been wondering for a while

Score of 80.

Pretty sure I have ADHD, since DS got diagnosed but I kept poo pooing any ideas that he was anything other than NT because I was making the excuse "but I do that, he's just like me, it's fine!"

It wasn't fine.

I've often wondered if I have it but in my heart of hearts I think I suffer from an anxiety disorder rather than ADHD

I’ve always suspected as I often feel I have radio static continuously in my head and am always on the go and need to be doing things.

FelicityPike · 27/09/2021 21:07

I scored 9.

  1. Suspected ADHD (suspected by me and DH). Have a referral but haven't got round to sorting out the insurance claim...and doing the quiz instead of the work that i am.supposed to be doing, work I'm doing now cos I was pulled into loads of stuff when I should have been doing it at work...
Tyrionsbitch · 27/09/2021 21:07

97, I strongly suspect I have adhd and have done for a while now

KimchiJjigae · 27/09/2021 21:08

I scored 15. I'm about to be assessed for autism.

My husband has a recent ADHD diagnosis and scored 95.

You can imagine how frustrating it can be to live together Grin

Wombat49 · 27/09/2021 21:08

90 dx of adhd and I could have scored higher but I don't mask anymore since I got my dx.

bearlyactive · 27/09/2021 21:08

68 - no diagnosis here

But I have wondered if I have some neurological difference because I can be organised but it takes such a lot of effort. I day dream constantly and zone out of conversations all the time. I am visual thinker, words get stuck and I have a very hard time audio processing numbers. I can focus on something like no one else I know which feels like I go deep into the centre of myself. I am very quiet and a bit awkward.

Keiki · 27/09/2021 21:09

I got 8.

MrsSchadenfreude · 27/09/2021 21:09

They say adhd rarely travels alone. It's very common to have a mix of things.
userxx · 27/09/2021 21:09

I scored 8
