Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 27/09/2021 20:43

71 and I really don’t think that I have ADHD.

Orangejuicemarathoner · 27/09/2021 20:43

39 - no serious ADHD type problems - maybe a little bit on some days

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 27/09/2021 20:43

64 for me, and I have ADHD.

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 27/09/2021 20:44

I got 92. Don't think I have adhd but have been previously diagnosed with ptsd and gad with a question mark over whether or not it was c-ptsd.

LadyCatStark · 27/09/2021 20:44

32, I don’t have any concerns that I could have ADHD but I do score extremely highly on these sort of autism tests so a few of the questions about social things like keeping track of a conversation skewed my result a bit.

Grenlei · 27/09/2021 20:44

I scored 72. I certainly wouldn't have said I have ADHD.

Tryingtogetitright · 27/09/2021 20:44

92... I opened this thread because I swlf diagnosed ADHD based on memes on Instagram (then got into a spiral of hunting for quizzes etc) DH didn't really believe in ADHD til I showed him a diagnostic website and he realised I matched 95% of it. Luckily he's a very patient man. Not quite sure what to do now - is there any value in getting formally diagnosed? Don't think I'd want medication...

Gilead · 27/09/2021 20:44
  1. I have a dx
Chilver · 27/09/2021 20:45

I have never considered that I had any ADHD traits. I did the test and got 18 - so that confirms i didn't need to consider it in relation to myself.

raffle · 27/09/2021 20:45

I scored 28
My DS has ADHD and I imagine he would score v highly on that quiz!

5zeds · 27/09/2021 20:45

23 I don’t have any feeling I have adhd

Kljnmw3459 · 27/09/2021 20:45

42, I don't have ADHD in case that is relevant.

whatagloriousthingtobe · 27/09/2021 20:45

I got 22. No diagnosis and don't think I have adhd either

HappyPumpkin81 · 27/09/2021 20:45

I got 31. I don't think I have ADHD, but I do have depression which probably led to a slight increase in my scores.

OuiOuiBonjour · 27/09/2021 20:45

I got 52 but think I might have ADHD so the opposite of what I was expecting!

RavenclawsRoar · 27/09/2021 20:45

I scored 9.

riotlady · 27/09/2021 20:45

23, no ADHD here

TabithaTiger · 27/09/2021 20:46

I scored 18.

Gladioli23 · 27/09/2021 20:46

33 for me.

I have some things I struggle with but they're quite specific, and not the broad spectrum of challenges that were being laid out in that test.

Winederlust · 27/09/2021 20:46

I scored 67. Just below the 'threshold' and no diagnosis but I have often wondered in the past whether I might have ADHD.

Siennabear · 27/09/2021 20:46

This is really interesting. I scored 12. I find it fascinating how different people can be.
