Would you do this ADHD diagnostic quiz and share your answer?

counsellingresource.com/quizzes/adhd-testing/adhd/

I've done this quiz which is meant to provide an estimate of whether you might have ADHD. It shouldn't be used for diagnosis, there are lot of caveats for it.

But I am thinking "but surely everyone does that" about a lot of the questions. I'd be really interested to get a range of answers from a range of people, if anyone is willing to share.

For what it's worth, I've done it twice on different days, scored 76 and 62. Their threshold for "possible ADHD" is 70+. I don't really believe anyone can score less than 50 and I'd be fascinated to know if I'm wrong.

I’m not hyperactive enough to actually have ADHD though.

Total score of: 93
(70 or Above, High Probability of ADHD)
Your answers to this adult ADHD screening test total 70 or over, which is associated with a high probability of ADHD. However, the diagnosis of ADD can only be made on the basis of a detailed history and mental status examination. High scores on this examination may result from anxiety, depression or mania. These conditions must be ruled out before a diagnosis of Adult ADD can be made.

  1. ADD referral refused "at this time" (about 6 months ago) Planned to write a letter at the time explaining symptoms and asking them to reconsider but keep getting distracted....weird! Grin

44 - I'd consider myself neurotypical although I have family members who are neurodiverse.

LateMumma · 16/01/2022 22:58

77, no diagnosis not for I suspect I have ADHD. I think there's an overlap with anxiety on a lot of this though.

I got 95.

I've wanted to explore this for a while as I believe I may have been misdiagnosed with something else.

Gravatar · 16/01/2022 23:38

I got 46. I do have some ADHD traits but I am autistic and I think there's a fair bit of overlap. I don't believe I have ADHD.

VioletLemon · 16/01/2022 23:39

I thought that too. I got 95. Anxiety is pretty central to ADD/ADHD especially with age.

user1471453601 · 16/01/2022 23:40

I scored 18. I tried to be truthful, for your sake.

I didnt, for one minute, think I might test as positive.

If anything, I'm the opposite. Im lazy and value logic very much.
