Just found out what I ordered online on Saturday night

I had a rare night out with colleagues on Saturday (the first since before COVID), with 2-3 drinks involved. When I got home DH and I had a single drink together and chattered about a few things we needed to sort out. And apparently during this chat I ordered something online, which I had completely forgotten about until this morning when the email confirming the order arrived.

No prizes but much kudos to the person who guesses right/closest!

I once got drunk and ordered a three headed vibrator. Grin. Sent it back unopened ha ha

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 20/09/2021 09:55

Oh and last time I got drunk I ordered loads of pyjamas ha ha
I reckon you bought a karcher window vac

Underpaidsnackbitch · 20/09/2021 09:56

Gardener?
Cleaner?
Personal trainer?

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 20/09/2021 09:57

Just saw the updates. A personal trainer?

Chipperfish · 20/09/2021 09:58

Ok, boxes are done, and youve all kept me going through another interminable morning of cleaning and organising Grin
Hopefully this doesnt disappoint anyone too much
(Am not in the uk - if this helps)

Apparently I have arranged a visit from 'The curtain bus' which is a travelling consulting/design service who specialize in solutions for awkward windows. And yes, they literally turn up in a bus.

I reckon you have contacted my brother and he will be bringing a selection of freshly picked organic vegetables to your door.

Rainbowshit · 20/09/2021 09:58

christmas tree decorator?

Chipperfish · 20/09/2021 09:58

But some of these are really good ideas! I think I will plan my next drunk order more carefully...

Oh, too late :)
Curtains would not have been my next guess.

LookItsMeAgain · 20/09/2021 10:00

I would never have guessed that! Grin
Someone to look after your curtains Grin Grin Ooooeerrrrr missus! Smile Wink Wink

Xmasfairy86 · 20/09/2021 10:09

A bus… for curtains… intriguing! 🚌

Chipperfish · 20/09/2021 10:12

I would never have guessed that either Confused

What the hell has happened to me that coming home tipsy and having a snuggle on the sofa leads to... interior design solutions?

I was thinking curtains as I've recently had some done for an awkward bay window but I didn't know there was a bus involved.

Fabulous! I'd love that. We've got odd-shaped bay windows and the previous owner just put straight rods across which cut off each bay once the curtains are pulled.

Not to mention the radiators behind the curtains. 🤦🏻‍♀️

10ColaBottles · 20/09/2021 10:17

We need a photo of the bus when it comes!!!

Chipperfish · 20/09/2021 10:20

I think it was the idea of the bus that may have seduced me, in fairness.

Im sure I could have found a curtain company without this added extra.

Thelnebriati · 20/09/2021 10:25

(Does the bus have curtains?)

Chipperfish · 20/09/2021 10:28

Meta question, TheInebriati, that I sadly cannot answer yet. Grin
We find out next week...

Is it like the 'bus' that goes to the French markets and opens out to be a display unit?

3GreenPullups · 20/09/2021 10:36

I like the idea of a curtain bus!

I once bought a baby grand piano off ebay when pissed. Never mind that I do not play the piano and lived in a bedsit on the third floor at the time.

Xiaoxiong · 20/09/2021 10:37

DH deleted his eBay account in shame after drunk-buying a pirate chest. It looked cheap but it was supposed to be shipped down from the Orkneys at some absolutely eye-watering price. He had to grovel to the seller to cancel the order the next morning!!

Thelnebriati · 20/09/2021 10:38

When I was a kid, our elderly neighbours had an Army green Morris Minor that was their pride and joy. It had net curtains in the back windows, and a lace edged antimacassar across the back seat.

KittenKong · 20/09/2021 10:38

Come on - it might have had treasure in it!!!
