I've met someone, its lovely, he's great, it's going so well but apparently our star signs, Gemini and Cancer, aren't compatible. I just want everything to be right. Does the day you were born have a bearing on how well you get on with someone? I wish I hadn't looked it up now...

How do you know if your star signs are compatible or not? Where are you looking this up?

I always check everyone’s star signs to see if we are ‘compatible’. As soon as I get a positive pregnancy test I work out the due date to see what the star sign will be - haven’t actually given a child up for adoption yet though

It's a load of old crap. I'm a gemini and the most compatible relationship I had was with a cancerian. We met young and only split up because our lives were heading in different directions. I'm now married to a libran (we're meant to be very compatible) and although we're happy we row like cat and dog. I wouldn't say we have natural compatibility at all but we make it work.

I really don't think it makes a lot of difference. I've just tried Googling, and it appears that DH and I are both very compatible, or not at all depending on which website you look at. I googled yours too and it seemed to say pretty much the same. I'd focus on the actual relationship rather than star signs. If it is going well don't look for trouble.
