Are you in love with someone that's star sign isn't compatible?

I've met someone, its lovely, he's great, it's going so well but apparently our star signs, Gemini and Cancer, aren't compatible. I just want everything to be right. Does the day you were born have a bearing on how well you get on with someone? I wish I hadn't looked it up now...

It isn't just about sun signs. Ruler of the 7th house venus sign and many other factors. Astrology is v complex.

I used to read the star signs from the paper in work at breaktime. I would ask their sign then read out a different one. The new love, finding money, feeling great rubbish..... they would nod and agree this was all true and happening then I'd say sorry what sign are you, oh I read the wrong one....!. just shows they're absolute tosh that is so generalised it applies to all.
Forget the star signs and believe in real life OP, if it's good just roll with it.

I doubt very much the day your are born means anything. I met someone born the very same day as me. At the time I thought the stars were aligned and it was meant to be. Turns out he's a complete chop. I was born the same day, and am not a chop. So that was that.

I have no idea if DH's star sign is compatible with mine as I've never looked it up. It genuinely is a load of shite, OP. My uncle used to make up the horoscopes for the regional newspaper when he got his first journalist role there..... apparently they all used to have a good laugh about it.

Never even considered this. I'm a Scorpio, who are supposed to highly sexed, passionate, jealous and argumentative, whereas I'd rather have a nice cuddle, hate drama, have never been jealous and can't bear arguing.

I got a cancer diagnosis today.

Think they were off the mark slightly.

I dated an apparently compatible sign. I can tell you that after spending a week together full time, we were definitely not compatible.

And who gets to decide these things anyway?

I have no idea. Since I married DH the dates for star signs have been redrawn, we get on better now so maybe we are now a match.

I know what my star sign is and my what my OHs is . No idea if they are compatible or not . But I like that our birthdays are exactly a month apart as it's easy for him to remember ! (His is first)

No idea. But Russell Grant managed to make a decent career out of spouting this shit. Nice guy, but it's all just for entertainment surely - nobody really believes it, do they? Not a clue what DH's star sign is or the DC for that matter.
