Are you in love with someone that's star sign isn't compatible?

I've met someone, its lovely, he's great, it's going so well but apparently our star signs, Gemini and Cancer, aren't compatible. I just want everything to be right. Does the day you were born have a bearing on how well you get on with someone? I wish I hadn't looked it up now...

My friend gave up her relationship with a man who's birth charts were not compatible with hers, her parents (and his) were very opposed to the marriage because of it. And she decided to go with the family.

She's happily married now to someone who's star charts matched hers.

Friend in this instance is from an eastern culture. So people do believe in it and give it emphasis.

I guess that's the only way star signs can have an influence - if someone's adherence to this belief causes them to behave differently. In this case the relationship was doomed because of the family's negativity. That sort of story takes it out of the realms of 'harmless fun'.

I’ve just realised I don’t know my dcs star sign.
I only know my dh’s because it’s the same as mine and we are nothing alike. Total opposites. I don’t know if that’s to do with star signs or not but it doesn’t bother me as he’s still a decent chap.

I have no idea . The day he was born on has zip all to do with compatibility and whether a relationship is successful or not.

You deffo wanna make sure you’re both compatible hun. What if his ascending Uranus and it’s not a good fit. Could be disastrous!

I have no idea. Been married 28 years but no idea what his star sign is. Doubt that he knows either.

Then I read how we should be according to our star signs and neither of us sound anything like described, so tbh I wouldn't be thinking too much in to this.

I’ve been with my partner 2 years and can honestly say it’s never even crossed my mind to ask what star sign he is.

But are your blood groups compatible, especially if one of you has Japanese heritage? Chinese zodiac sign? Birth order. Attachment styles. Earnings levels.... I expect if someone looks hard enough, they'll find some confirmatory signal or negative signal.

Just discovered that my worst match is a Virgo. We've been together for 15 years and married for 9 with 2 kids so I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's a load of old bollocks.
