I've met someone, its lovely, he's great, it's going so well but apparently our star signs, Gemini and Cancer, aren't compatible. I just want everything to be right. Does the day you were born have a bearing on how well you get on with someone? I wish I hadn't looked it up now...

Star signs are without a doubt utter bullshit! Anyone who would chose chose a partner based on a star sign is absolutely bat shit!

My friend gave up her relationship with a man who's birth charts were not compatible with hers, her parents (and his) were very opposed to the marriage because of it. And she decided to go with the family.

She's happily married now to someone who's star charts matched hers.

Friend in this instance is from an eastern culture. So people do believe in it and give it emphasis.

But isn’t that just a self fulfilling prophecy.

I don't believe in star signs at all but I'm a Libra married to a Pices, which is a terrible match apparently. Step away from the zodiac stuff and spend time with him to determine whether you are actually compatible.

Most professional astrologists don't believe in compatibility for your star sign!

There's so much more to astrology than Sun signs! You can't tell compatability just on sun signs.

Yes! I had to look up what DH is....apparently we are amazingly, fabulously compatible! Hurrah!
Then I looked up the reasons why....and it was a load of shite that didn't describe our relationship dynamic at all. At all at all. So I'm going to forget about that and just remember that our two star signs are amazeballs compatible.

We’re apparently not star sign compatible, together happily for 19 years so I’d imagine it’s all bollocks. That being said I’m almost textbook my star sign and he is about 4% his.
