An old farmer told me that mist on a summers morning is 'all for heat'. Meaning the sun will burn it away and it will be a proper hot day. Since being told I've never known a misty summer morning that didn't turn into a scorcher! I've perplexed people with my uncanny ability to be prepared for blazing sun on a day that looked pretty miserable when we set out!
