My mum has just been rushed into hospital

She had a bad headache, wanted to be sick and seemed confused/weak. She's not well in general but I've never seen her look so bad. She's been positive with Covid too so came to stay with me so I could keep an eye on her.

I'm fucking terrified. Have to wait for a couple of hours before I can ring the hospital and I'm just numb. My dad is no help. I need to tell my sister but don't want to worry her until I know something.

I don't even know why I'm posting, just need to get it out I think

I really hope your mum is ok, she’s in the best place. Has she been vaccinated, do you think this is related to covid?. Waiting for news is awful, fingers crossed there’s been some improvement overnight.

She's double jabbed but we all tested positive last weekend. She's CEV so has been quite poorly and has had a horrible cough so I just don't know.

The doc is going to ring me at 3pm to update me but it doesn't sound great - she's on a vent in itu. Nurse did say they were going to try to wake her up to assess her more so hopefully that's good news.
