Continuing the original thread from [[https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_classics/4273553-I-know-everything-about-you-AMA?pg=1 here]. I'll be answering questions on the original thread until it's full.

@Yesitsbess

Will I have time to dye my hair before the wedding?

Also where is the sodding invisible leak in this godforsaken house?

Thanking you

@Yesitsbess You won't have time to do it without rushing. Wear a big hat instead.

The leak is between the bathroom radiator and the radiator of the small bedroom.

Nostradonna, hope you are well.

Can you tell me when will I get inheritance from my late dads estate?

Will it be in cash or actual bricks and mortar that I will buy the other beneficiary out of? Or vice-versa.

And should I be doing anything about this just now or let it unfold over coming months/years?

Thanks.

AlCalavicci · 10/09/2021 10:20

Oh I think @UnlimitedChipsAndSalsa may not be on her best form, Everybody's busy getting back into the autumn routine. I'm answering too late, but your wellies are in the boot

@Elieza

My condolences for you loss. Flowers You will get your inheritance around May next year. Yes, the other person will buy you out OR vice versa Grin. Just let it unfold for now, but make your intentions known in writing (even a quick email), so you have a record of it just in case.

@AlCalavicci Oh dear, someone has stolen your wellies and put them in their boot! No wonder you can't find them.

Where shall I go for fancy baby and mum lunch next?

Elieza · 10/09/2021 20:18

Thanks for your condolences and advice, Nostradonna. 🙏

‘In writing’ may be easier said than done. I don’t have the other party’s email address, only postal address.

Is it the lawyer or the other party I should contact in writing? Or would a phone call to the other party suffice? Not sure they want to hear from me right enough!

I’m just lucky to be getting left something, my dad was a kind guy.

Thanks

@BakeOffRewatch That little cafe with the metal tables out front that you keep passing by

Ok. So what's this curry gonna be like NostraPrimaDonnaKebab?
I really need it to be good.

Also, am I addicted to takeaway, or just a lazy bitch?
I personally think it's the latter.

@Elieza This is not legal advice (strangely, just like in the medical situation, they wouldn't give me a law degree either even though I know everything. Sticklers for the rules!), but I say if there's something that needs to be known, it could be sent to the solicitor who is dealing with the estate (proof of delivery and keep a copy for yourself) or the executor. But if the other party is also the executor, that could be seen as a bit aggressive/grabby so you might want to save that for if you feel like things aren't being done properly. I might have to go with a Nostradonna staple here and tell you to go with your gut. Just keep in mind that if you're dealing with a shady person, nothing said over the phone would count, as you wouldn't be able to prove you said it, and let's just say some people have selective memory.

@ItsOverFlo It's going to be an 8 out of 10.

You're not addicted to takeaway. You're 85% busy, 12% lazy, and only 3% a bitch (except that one time...you know what I'm talking about!).

Deffo more than 3% bitch, more like 4.765%.

Curry was pretty amazing actually.

I'm glad I didn't take your advice that I didn't ask you for last time and then blame it on you even though you didn't know about it then lose my temper and have a strop and rant about how you should have read my mind even though I didn't ask you but you should have known anyway.

But thats obvs forgotten now. obviously. No bitterness at all. Totally forgotten. Obvs. Stalking is abuse, I know that.

But, can i just ask, if I do something nefarious to my ex husband (not saying murder or torture or framing for tax fraud or anything), is Cuba a good place to move to, bring up kids etc. What are the schools like? DD really thinks Cuba is a good plan.

But I've heard there are some issues there and can they then extradite you back to the UK for certain crimes?

Elieza · 10/09/2021 23:33

Nostradonna, I don’t care so much about the low level stuff! It’s the health wealth and happiness stuff I’m interested in. Feel free to send anything else helpful you pick up about me my way!

If you want a low level, just for fun, what colour nail varnish am I considering painting my toes tomorrow? Grin. And will I like it once it’s done or regret and go with plan b?

@ItsOverFlo I'm glad you liked the curry. I purposely gave a lower rating so you would be pleasantly surprised.

Regarding your ex, I'm afraid I can't condone any behaviour that would put you on the lam. BUT the beaches in Cuba do look quite beautiful, so going there for...er...a visit may not be the worst idea.

@Elieza Yes, but what about the pressure on meeeeeee?

You are considering painting your toes light blue. You will like it more if you paint just the nails, not the whole toe. Grin
