Nostradonna, will I get any more furred companions after the recent loss of dcat? I’ve only had about 3 years out of my whole adult life without a furry friend of one kind or another and it’s so strange to be alone. But do I need to be tied down with no foreign holidays again etc for worrying about the little one settling without me….?

Dilemma.

What is the answer? Do you see a furry friend in my life again and is it my companion or just a dog I end up walking or something? I dreamed about a hamster last night. Escaping and chewing up my place

What is the relationship between my cat and baby? Well I can tell what my baby thinks, but any insight into the cat? She will sit by baby’s door, sometimes sniff her feet but generally ignores her completely.

Why am I awake at 4am ?

Actually I can answer that one myself , it is cos daft boy cat was playing zoomies at 3am and I cant get back to sleep , he is curled up at the foot of my bed fast asleep grrrr

So my question is , when will I fall asleep and what time will I wake up

When will we buy a bigger house?

The hamster dream is about a secret you're keeping from a family member that you need to get out.

I'm thinking about buying some long robes so I can wear just those and be naked underneath. Not planning on learning a foreign language, though every language is a foreign language to some people. Definitely NOT going to grow a beard, but I might let my sole chin hair have a few extra days in the sun.

@BakeOffRewatch The cat is secretly plotting revenge against the baby for stealing all of its attention. Once the baby has enough teeth, the cat will start chewing up your cherished items and blame it on the baby.

Thanks OP. I think my secret is probably that my mum expects me to phone her every night, as I’ve done for 18 months since covid, and I’m not enjoying it any more.

I find I’m clock watching and we have nothing to say to each other as we do nothing and go nowhere.

I work from home really hard all day. I’m tired. And when I try and get away she says “yes fine there was nothing else I had to tell you apart from..” and then I’m there another ten mins hearing about nothing. I love my mum and I know she’s lonely but I think we need to find a midpoint as she forgets I’m working and tired.

So thanks. I’ll try telling her how I feel re weeknight convos and see if I can reduce them a bit.

@Elieza Best of luck! Another option is to multitask a bit. While on the phone, do some stretching, pelvic floor exercises, lunges, etc. You'll be fit by Christmas!
