His US Attorney representing him has handled cases of many famous people accused of rape including Bill Cosby

Judge Kaplan gave Giuffre's lawyer David Boies a week to request an order that would settle any uncertainty over service.

They will argue it on Oct. 13th.

New York (CNN)Prince Andrew was served with legal papers in a civil sexual assault case against him when the senior British royal's US-based lawyer was sent the suit by FedEx and email on Monday, court papers show.

The US court documents, seen by CNN, show the legal papers were delivered to the duke's lawyer, Andrew B. Brettler, at the law firm of Lavely and Singer in Los Angeles on Monday morning at 9:22 a.m. local time.
The court document also shows legal papers being delivered to the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Monday.

It is longstanding standard practice to treat senior Royals as if they had stayed in the Armed Forces and as a result promote them. I bet that pisses off those that are in the Armed Forces.

Hold on, so the same Queen who asked for a bailout for the palace due to Covid, suddenly has millions to pay for Andy's legal case.

It obviously went away enough in 2011, and I wonder if they think the same will happen this time. I think when you start down the road of Andrew actually availing himself of trafficked women who were underage in the place he had sex with them, it's not quite so easy.

I'm pretty sure the Queen and her lawyers will be doing some VERY heavy leaning. I hope Victoria Giuffre sticks to her guns.

Prince Andrew has been granted access to a sealed document his lawyers believe could help end the sexual abuse case being brought by Virginia Giuffre.
A US judge gave permission for the agreement between Ms Giuffre and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to be shared with the prince's lawyers.
Ms Giuffre's lawyers had made the offer to release the document but believe it will be "irrelevant" to the civil case.

I have no idea whether the sealed documents will mean that he is immune from prosecution or not but if he has to rely on that earlier agreement that speaks volumes, in my view.

If VGs lawyers have agreed to share the documents I would guess that they are pretty confident that they will have no bearing on PAs case?
