@nottodaybatman,
I don’t know what you would propose the queen does about PA. Apart from (maybe) setting off some chaff, the RF has not really protected him. He has been left to protect himself.
The queen is 95 (!) this year and just lost her husband. I am sure she has passed over a lot of the strategic thinking to the younger generation and probably judges PA kindly.
Do you expect him to be turned away from one of the ‘family homes’ when he has not yet been convicted of anything or even lost the civil case?
What family would expel a child over 20 year old unproven allegations?
I just keep thinking of ‘Nick’ and his ‘credible and true’ accusations against all number of public figures, some of whom were only vindicated posthumously. (Look at old Edward Heath threads on here-pretty horrible retrospectively).
At the moment we have VG’s allegations against 4 or 5 high profile figures, all of whom deny them (yes-to quote Christine Keeler-‘they would, wouldn’t they). Everyone here is treating her allegations as ‘credible and true’ based on the fact that we know she was a victim. Victim hood does not an oracle make (IMO).
PA will probably hide. On the other hand, Dershowitz seems keener to take VG on and has sued her for defamation (and she has counter sued). To me, that will be an interesting test of her credibility.
